Robbins Butte Wildlife Area

"Fun little area just outside of Buckeye proper."

"December 26 2023. Ribbins Butte BLM. Near Buckeye Arizona. No shooting! About 1/2 mile in, take the left road at the fork. Right road is State land day use only. No bathrooms. No dumpster. No picnic tables. CHECK FIRE RESTRICTIONS before building a fire. Vehicles driving on the BLM road throughout the night. ROAD IN WAS RECENTLY GRADED which made the entrances to the camping areas difficult to get into for low clearance vehicles. Maybe 25 decent camping locations throughout area. OHV/ ATVs drive fast and roads become sandy due to off road tires."

"14 day camping on the blm land was beautiful and quiet. Plenty of spaces to enjoy nature. The road coming in is a little rough but we had no problem going in with a 30' travel trailer. Just drive slow and you'll be fine"

"As we were camping next to the Butte o. Saturday night, somebody pulled up right next to our camp at 1 o'clock AM and started shooting at the Butte with our campsite between them and the Butte. We can hear the bullets whistle by. Very scary situation,"

"Road in is wash board and goes through samdy wash. We made it with Vlass C and tow just fine. Plenty of space."
