Reviews of Boneyard Vista RV Park
"First come first serve campground. We were fortunate enough to get a spot right away. During our stay some people were in the dry camping for up to 3 days (or longer if they just wanted to boondock) So close to everything on base!! And great location for many hikes, going to restaurants or exploring southern Arizona!!"
"I went tent camping. No handicapped tent spaces. Road is very very rocky to the office. I had a knee scooter & almost tipped over! Free coffee during office hours with clean accessible bathroom. WiFi throughout the campground."
"The campground is beautiful, with desert landscaping and well-maintained campsites. The bathrooms are very clean and laundry is available. The ‘boneyard’ itself is amazing, with all the decommissioned planes and helicopters - it goes on forever! Enjoying my stay."
"Super pretty area. Everything was laid out nicely. The dump station was easy to get to. Check in at the main building and pay the fees."
"Spent 4 nights at Boneyard Vista on Davis Monthan Air Force Base, and my wife and I thought it was one of the nicest campgrounds we'd stay in since starting our trip on Sept 1, 2022. (we've seen a lot of campgrounds). The old campground is across from the new sites, and the old simply has dirt roads and older hookups. The new side has paved roads, gravel sites, a nice little dog park, and a whole bunch of basic campsites without hookups. Staff is friendly, the whole area is nice and clean, it's quiet, and you have a tremendous view of all the airplanes packed away for storage on the base. If you get a chance I suggest getting a site on the ends of the rows in the new campground; they have a little more space with nice landscaping and plants."
