"First off this place is the best on the mountain by far! I recently took my CCW class there and it was awesome. I then also purchased a pistol through them. "I am so glad I found out about The Hub (Lakeside) for firearm training. I wanted a class to give me confidence in handling AND firing my weapon. It has been a long time (over 10 years) since I have actually discharged a weapon so I was a little nervous. I also had a new handgun that I was not comfortable with yet. I took the Handgun Fundamentals Foundations and it was exactly what I was looking for. The instructor, Paul, covered safe gun handling practices first. He kept the class interesting and also answered questions as they came up. A very informative guy. He gave me the knowledge I needed to feel comfortable on the range. Even though it was a group class it was small enough to get individual attention. There were 4 in my class and when we were on the range there were 3 instructors out there with us. I felt very safe and felt the instruction was tailored to my skill level. Plus we had a lot of opportunity to fire our weapons. Paul also showed us how to clean our guns after the range time. The day flew by! I plan to go back for more training. Oh, and they have a huge store which I didn’t know about either. I actually found some moon clips there that I had been looking for in the Valley at all the major gun stores to no avail. Highly recommend this facility!"
