"Just a disaster of an experience with this company. We put our deposit down in October of 2021. April of 2023, still no pool. They have been blindsided by every issue we have had. They have not gotten out in front of one problem. Permitting has been a major issue and they have essentially left us on our own to get it figured out. Our backyard has been a construction zone for a year. Communication is terrible. We have gone months at a time without hearing from them. At one point our project manager left the company and no one told us. I was just sending text messages into the abyss for a month. They don't follow through. They don't get ahead of anything. They don't solve problems. Terrible experience. Would recommend any other pool company besides California Pools."

"We’ve had 3 pools built by California Pools. I would highly recommend them for any pool project. Having professional relationships with several pool builders, California is heads above the rest. Regardless of what other pool companies tell you, California Pools bought the patent for the in floor cleaning system (that works). Other pool builders use a much inferior floor cleaning system that simply pushes debris around. Every detail of our pool and spa were expertly thought of and their final design blew us away. Construction went good, fast. Our superintendent, Jeremiah was on sight daily, and was a super nice guy. He kept us informed, and we always knew what was happening. In an HOA with strict guidelines, they had all of their bases covered and even read the CC&R’s for our community. We didn’t need to hire a pool company to maintain the pool with the UV and ozone system. Having 3 pools with California Pools, and never had an issue, is something huge when you’re making that investment. They aren’t the cheapest priced pool company, but you’ll get what you pay for. If you’re putting in a pool, you’re already spending a lot of money and having a reliable pool that has an incredible warranty, is well worth the price difference. The only complaint that I have is that our yard slopage after the pool build wasn’t perfect. It wasn’t horrible, but I had to go out and level the backyard. I shouldn’t have signed off on the pool, but I wanted to get swimming ASAP, so that also falls on me for not asking to have that fixed. All in all, Incredibly happy with California Pools and will use them again."

"When we decided to have a pool built we checked out several pool companies and found that only California Pools understood our vision. Other pools companies gave us boring and outdated designs and some even pushed back when we asked for new designs. Our designer at Cal pools Matt Sauer worked with us until we were 100% satisfied with our design (and 8 change orders during the construction because we were super indecisive) and we felt no pressure. During the construction our construction manager Jeremiah was extreemly helpful and ensured our pool was built properly and with excellent quality. He always worked with our scheduling coordinator Sara and let us know the phases of construction that we were in and helped us make any last min changes to ensure we were happy. I would definitely recommend California Pools to design and build your pool!"
