"The Barking Dog is truly the premier dog boarding facility in Scottsdale. I just picked up my two dogs from boarding them there and they literally had smiles on their faces! They were also super clean and super happy. It feels so wonderful to have a place like this right in the heart of Scottsdale. Kudos to Mia who greeted us with a smile and took care of all the details upon check-in, and kudos to Ashley who also greeted us with a smile and helped with check-out. She even helped me bring things to the car, talk about white glove service!"

"I recently had the pleasure of taking my beloved fur baby to The Barking Dog, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! From the moment I walked in the door, I was greeted with a warm and friendly staff who clearly love dogs as much as I do. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and designed with the utmost care for our furry friends. I was impressed with the colored collars, and spacious play areas, both indoors and outdoors, where the dogs can run and socialize with other pups. It's obvious that safety is a top priority here, with secure fencing and dedicated staff members who keep a watchful eye on the dogs at all times. What truly sets The Barking Dog apart is the level of care and attention they provide. The staff members are not only knowledgeable about dog behavior and health, but they genuinely care for each dog's well-being. I was delighted to receive updates on my dog after his initial assessment and at the end of his daycare sessions. This put my mind at ease knowing he was having a blast. Quick tip, once a month (typically on the first Monday of every month) they host Customer Appreciation Day where you can earn 20% off all retail items and monthly unlimited Daycare Packages! I walked in accidentally on this day and was incredibly thankful I did! They offered refreshments, and grab-and-go items by Morning Squeeze and Einstein Bros Bagels. YUM! Additionally, they have an onsite Groomer (fairly priced, I was happy with my puppy's groom) and monthly veterinarian visits to ensure your pet is up-to-date on their health care regimen. My dog came home tired and happy, which is a testament to the fun and engaging activities they offer. I've noticed a positive change in his socialization skills, and he seems more well-adjusted and content after his visits to The Barking Dog. I highly recommend The Barking Dog to any dog owner looking for a safe, fun, and loving environment for their furry family. It's clear that they have a passion for dogs, and I can't thank them enough for the fantastic care they provided. I was only in Arizona temporarily, but was thankful to have had The Barking Dog as a regular part of my dog's routine! I wish we had something similar here! Areas for improvement: Faster drop off/pick up time at peak hours, staff name tags, scheduling an initial tour of the facility outside of their touring times."

"We boarded our standard goldendoodle here for the first time and were blown away! They took us in the back to show us the room sizes, provided a complimentary bath w/ a three night stay, and provided consistent status updates upon request. The facility is clean, safe, and organized. Our pup came home and was so tired from all the fun! We can’t wait to continue visiting The Barking Dog for boarding and daycare in the future!"

"So happy with a quick overnight stay for my sweet pup. She has severe anxiety when we leave her and she eats the house so we wanted an affordable option for an overnight stay. Our pup also got sprayed by a skunk a week ago and after 3 baths at our house they gave her one and she is shiny and smells amazing! We will for sure be back. Awesome friendly and accommodating staff. Thank you."
