"As a result of severe water damage throughout our home due to a faulty installation of a new dishwasher we were referred to Cardinal Clean by our Contractor. This ended up being a complete clean out of our home. Cardinal Clean (Manny, Kyle, Jose, Ben, Anaie) were extremely efficient, courteous, and careful with everything they touched/packed. As with any home, there are items that require a patience and attention that each one of these employees went above and beyond to provide care that you would expect if you did it yourself. Techs get fired for stealing then hired again with same position? Would not recommend to anyone!"

Movers came and removed all my belongings, marked every boxes , they were personable , patient , and treated my belongings with care and Answered all my questions . Will def use them again ! "During our first meeting the sales rep described exactly what I was looking for in a pack out service. I was promised detailed photos of every item, multiple photos including brand/model info and serial numbers. He even offered to detail my car for me, as it had a strong smoke odor inside it. As for what could be cleaned, I was told it depends on the item and would have to wait for more specifics. After that, I was passed off and it went downhill from there. Whenever I asked questions I was told they'd have to look into it. And never did give me any answers on what was cleanable. Insurance decided to consider everything a total loss, so they decided it was all trash. I was never given the option to decide for myself if something was cleaned or not. During the pack out, I told the team of a few very specific items that were the most valuable to me. They did put those aside for me, however never included any of those items in the report. The first red flag was halfway through when they asked if they could throw everything away. I told them not to discard anything until I saw the list and knew everything was accounted for, and so that I could retrieve the items I wanted to keep. When I got the first draft of the list, I was in shock. It was maybe 1/2 of my belongings. I was told it wasn't the complete list, just the list of things that could not be cleaned. They still had my electronics and other items that might be able to be cleaned. Well, the insurance company said they would rather just replace everything, so Cardinal made no attempts to clean anything, even when I asked about paying for it myself. And when I finally got the final list it was heart breaking. So many things were missing. I gave them a very short list of items they had that I was ok with them discarding and told them I wanted the rest back as I needed to redo the list from scratch myself. They made no attempt to resolve the worthless list. The list was full of vague entries like "Mens shoes Qty 1" with a photo of a pile of my shoes. There were multiple "storage bin Qt1" which were rubber storage containers full of items, that they didn't even bother to take out and take a photo of, let alone list on the inventory. Items such as electronics or car parts. There were also multiple boxes/bins that didn't even get the box/bin listed. It's been months and we are still remembering items that we had that mysteriously disappeared. For example, every single one of my Dodgers jerseys are gone. Only my Dodgers jerseys, none of the other teams. Multiple of my GF's hoodies and jackets are missing, misc tools were gone. And I don't just mean not on the list, not only that but they weren't in the belongings when we redid the list ourselves. I don't know if they were just thrown away carelessly or worse. I just know they're gone. In the end we retrieved the pile of garbage bags that was all of our belongings the crew had left in a pile in my backyard. We sorted through them ourselves taking our own photos, as insurance basically told us the small sample of the list we tried to submit was worthless. Trying to get any help was worthless. The only questions they would respond to were logistical ones, like getting our belongings back or getting paid. I would sent long emails and get a brief, one sentence reply, or none at all. At one point I told them I was waiting to sign over the check because of all the missing items and suddenly they showed interest in helping and I was contacted by a warranty specialist. however as soon as the insurance check cleared, I never heard back from anyone again. The entire process felt like a company that was only focused on insurance money and did not care about the people involved whose lives were ruined. As if the fire wasn't bad enough, the damaged and missing items were the icing on the cake, and the complete lack of communication and empathy were the cherries on top. I regret signing over the insurance money, but honestly I was just completely exhausted from the ordeal and just needed to move on."
