"The dogs are kept in a building with no windows and minimal lighting. I assume this is to keep them cool since there is no AC. As soon as we walked in I felt like it was a very depressing setting. We were told the dog would get yard time in his own space during the early morning and evening. The owner only said “he’s doing great” When I asked for an update. When we picked up our dog he had hardly eaten at all. I’m not sure if he was not fed or if he was so stressed out that he wouldn’t eat. (He’s been boarded other places and this has never been an issue anywhere else). Upon picking our dog up my husband witnessed the owner hit the dog on the head with his bowl. Overall I would never take my dog back there. It did not feel like it was a loving environment for him to be in. My dog has not been the same since. I have heard from other people that they have had the same experience, their dogs are not eating while there and they have seen her hit the dogs with the bowl."
