"After calculating our taxes ourselves and because we are new homeowners, my wife and I thought it to be a prudent thing to get a little help this year so we posted our needs on Yelp. We made an appointment with Roger Lamberson after receiving a response from his office. In years previous, I had been the victim of a predatory service so I also thought it to be prudent to ask a few reasonable questions this time around and as it turns out, Roger couldn't answer the simplest and fairest of questions without an incredibly entitled, condescending, and defensive response. The question: "If our taxes were this cut-and-dry, (simple) what was the benefit to us in having a professional firm like his prepare our taxes?" After a display of pseudo offense, he got up from his fainting couch and explained that never in his time had anyone asked a question like that - He handed our paperwork back to us and asked us to leave. :)) I'm not suggesting that Roger Lamberson, PLC is predatory but, it is my experience that in this day and age, businesses like this 'can' be predatory and out for a quick easy buck - People should be asking fair and reasonable questions like this if only to provoke and expose this kind of entitled and condescending behavior. I should point out that our taxes were not overly complicated - We don't own rental properties or a business nor do we have an estate to plan and when you think about it in those terms, I suppose we're not as lucrative as folks who do but, that doesn't makes us any less important nor are we any less deserving of a thoughtful and reasonable response to a fair and reasonable question. We deserved better and if like us, you're looking for better, Roger Lamberson isn't it."
