Jackson Hewitt Tax Service

"They are liars and thieves here! My dad and I get our taxes done at Jackson Hewitt together. I am a college student and my dad still claims me as a dependent. Since I am his dependent, Jackson Hewitt will do my taxes for free. We usually go to a different location, but decided to go to this one because it is closer. When my dad got his taxes done by Beatriz, he asked her if they will do my taxes for free like the other location. She told him yes. When I came in to get my taxes done, she started telling me that they would not do it for free after her telling my dad that they would do it for free. She lied to me saying she told my dad that they would love to do my taxes, not that they would do it for free. She lied saying it was a "miscommunication". I find it hard to believe there could be a miscommunication when she clearly told my dad that they would do it for free! She was trying to get another customer to come in by saying it was free and then take my money. I am thoroughly disappointed. UPDATE: I tried talking to Beatriz’s manager, Jen, about her lying to my dad and I. Both Beatriz and Jen were extremely unprofessional. Jen was telling me that it was impossible for Beatriz to have lied because lying is “not in their vocabulary”. She explained that Jackson Hewitt employees are not liars and was upset at me for telling her Beatriz lied to my dad and I. Jen then went on to explain random procedures that had nothing to do with them lying to me and then got upset at me for asking how that was relevant. She then treated me like a child demanding that I put my father on the phone so she could ask him what he asked Beatriz. That was extremely unprofessional and rude. They need some serious customer service training."

"I have been going to Jackson hewit for 3 years now and Beatriz has been doing my taxes for 3 years now as well . I made my appointment and she was ready when I got there. She is always so friendly and kind. She is very knowledgeable and explains everything she is doing as she is doing it. She Answers all my questions and I always get a good refund. She really cares about her customers! I will be going back and doing my taxes with Beatriz for as long as I can."

"I went in without an appointment after two other major tax services required one even though the lobbies were empty. Drove to power and mckellips and was helped right away by Judah Camillo she was pleasant and very helpful I’m a blue collar very untech person and she patiently helped me through the process and explained in detail all of my tax details I highly recommend them five stars for her and Jackson Hewitt"
