"Highly recommend going to see Lalita or Aris for your tax needs! They’re both so kind and helped me out when I needed taxes done ASAP for disability. Went in with an appointment and was out before the hour. This is my new tax place and I could not be more satisfied!"
"Beware of this location! They preyed on my younger sister who had her taxes prepped by their manager LaLita Warren the year prior. She told my mother that the great part about her offices is the next year you come in it’ll be the same or cheaper and also that all your information is stored. Well when my sister went in today they charged her 350 dollars when the price was 206 dollar the year prior and this is for a simple W2 filing. My mother called LaLita and she said she felt bad but it’s out of her hands and she can’t honor the price since my sister was charged the additional 150 dollars already. I would be careful going to any branch in the Phoenix area because it looks like all are under the same umbrella. Overall 350 dollars for a simple tax prep is insane but to add in the bold face lie makes it even worse."
"I made an appointment online for 10:00 am. I received several appointment confirmation messages. I showed up for my appointment, and no one was there. Other locations could not give me any information. Horrible experience and waste of my time."
"The tax preparer was on time, considerate and pleasant and also answered all my questions. Very nice person."
"My business partner and I share a rental property but he lives out of state. We like to do taxes at the same place so we only have to give somebody all the rental papers once. I went to this location and had a good experience getting my taxes done. They kept copies of the rental documents so they could do my business partner's taxes, too. That's where things went off the rails. They told him to wait until July to file this year's taxes because of mistakes made by our previous accountant that needed to be cleared up. Two weeks before the deadline, my partner tries to get a hold of this office to get things moving, and no one would ever answer his calls or emails. He had to file an extension himself online. Then someone told him to go to a different location on Thomas Rd. Being that he's out of state, I went there myself during their posted business hours. No one was there. 40 minutes round trip, wasted. So I went home and made an appointment online. Got an email reminding me of my appointment. Showed up, no one was there. 40 minutes round trip, wasted. A lady in the parking lot told me she'd been trying to get a hold of someone there for 3 weeks. Their voicemail and their posted hours on the door say they are open, but they are not. I sent an email to their posted address and received no reply. I did get an email today telling me I missed my appointment, no joke. Called the national number, and all they do is send you to the local offices, which obviously doesn't help at all. The Jackson Hewitt national page doesn't even have a way for you to contact them other than calling. No email, no 'send us a message' page, nothing. I wish I had never heard of this place. I guess the only way to get our documents back at this point would be to go to the police."
