"Do not do business with this company. We attempted to follow our bookkeeper, Sabrina, when she recently came to work for Kiser. Sabrina agreed in writing to continue bookkeeping services for us to close out the 2023 year under her previous firm. We all agreed to use Kiser under their contract starting January 1, 2024. Our multiple phones calls and attempts to meet with Carrie were not answered. On December 11, Sabrina announced to us that not only had she not closed out the past 2 months books, she had not paid sales taxes for the past month and "didn't know when she'd have time to do that" because she was "so busy". She said she did not care if we were her client or if we wanted to leave because she was so busy spending time on our account and now she wanted to raise our prices. Which makes no sense because she had done no work and our books and taxes were not completed. We're moving on to another firm and I do not recommend even attempting to do business with anyone at this company. It's also very obvious by Carrie's responses to other negative reviews on this site that she fails to take any responsibility for the terrible customer service provided by her company. We all understand that mistakes are made on occasion but what matters most is that one take ownership of the issue and attempt to make it right for the customer. We too are grateful we chose not to work for your company based on your unprofessional response. As to your expected and unprofessional reply below: WARNING to anyone chosing to do business with this company or their incompetent employees. Do your research, such as reviewing these reviews and their comments before doing business here."

"In sum, Carrie and her team are godsent-- From start to finish, her work and her team's attention to detail began with being available and patient to answer questions and having an app where all communication occurs for downloading documents and messaging. This made the tax filing process the EASIEST I have ever experienced. This was my first time working Kiser Tax and I would definitely recommend this team-- you're in good hands!"

"Things went downhill the longer I worked with them unfortunately and now I'm still cleaning up the mess from 2021 taxes. A few years ago, I was so impressed with Carrie's support and knowledge with Quick Books so switched accountants to work with her. Over the years, I felt less and less supported and every time I would contact anyone at the office, I felt like a bother and struggled to get timely or efficient assistance to my concerns or questions. Even when I asked what it may look like to get more support and guidance and pay accordingly being a new business owner, I got no response. I kept justifying that she was busy or I dropped the ball on something, so stayed with her longer than I should. As things got worse, I started interviewing other accountants and one told me that a certain amount wasn't accounted for on my prior taxes. I defended her saying that wasn't possible as I had talked with her just weeks before and she knew about that amount and how to apply it accordingly. I was shocked to learn that she indeed did NOT apply it to my taxes, and proceeded to take no responsibility for correcting it, but rather blamed me and my financial advisor for the error. Now, many months later, I am still cleaning up the mess from her negligence, and am having to pay another account to amend prior taxes, even though every accountant I have spoken with says that this should have been corrected by her, at no charge, if she was being ethical and professional. I'm very disappointed with how things transpired and how much time and money have been lost due to poor communication and errors."

"The absolute worst. I’m dumbfounded that she is a qualified accountant. Update to Carrie’s response: I never asked for anything for free. Carrie’s inability to follow through with what she said she would do left my business in bad shape. She “saved” me $4,000 by recommending I change to an s-corp but that only caused more issues. I was relying on her professional expertise on whether or not to change over. She recommended that was the way to go. She didn’t help with the new procedures of the s-corp and requirements or even give me an estimated payments schedule to keep on top of payments while everything was being figured out. I was left with no way to know how to move forward. It was clear at that point Carrie was not going to help out. I sent her a stern email about why nothing has been done (less than a month away from tax time by now) she came back with saying I’m asking for everything for free and she will no longer help me, her “firing” me. I never had a problem paying. I’ve only wanted to know how much it would be before we started. Avoid this place at all cost, I cannot stress that enough!! She really hurt my business."
