"I recently had my taxes prepared by Librada Medina at H&R Block, and I wanted to share my experience. This year, the service felt particularly rushed, which was disappointing. Communication was a significant barrier; I struggled to understand her, and she seemed to have difficulty hearing me. Unlike my previous encounters with H&R Block, where tax advisors meticulously walk through each section of the documents and explain different payment options, this appointment lacked that detailed guidance. It felt more like a straightforward process focused on getting signatures rather than ensuring understanding and satisfaction. I also felt constrained in sharing additional information that might have benefited my tax return. There seemed to be little interest in exploring details that could potentially increase my refund. Consequently, I received the lowest tax return I've ever had, which I can't help but attribute to the rushed service and lack of open communication throughout the process. The experience left me feeling like I didn't receive the full support and expertise I've come to expect from H&R Block. Would I recommend H&R Block based on this experience? It's tough to say. While I've had positive experiences in the past, this recent visit was underwhelming. I hope this was an isolated incident, but it has made me consider exploring other tax preparation services in the future."

"Information did not seem to be entered correctly and it was not explained why certain deductions could not be used. I tried to explain that it was entered incorrectly when comparing to last year and I was told I was wrong and just hurried out by the tax professional. The front desk clerk, Fran asked to be called and double check it. I was livid at the moment and chose not to. I may return for a second opinion."

"Nice people, front desk lady was nice. Just wish they knew what they were doing. Somehow managed to owe thousands more than last year even though nothing changed. The lady didn’t even know how to navigate the application properly and I’m not a tax “pro” but I saw multiple things that I know was done wrong.
