"I’ll try keeping this short and brief so to start, the process was unbelievably easy. Chris was very helpful and always made time to answer questions and even assisted in my search for a truck. Yes I know that some people will do whatever to make a sale but I honestly never felt rushed or pressured with my purchase. Just being honest with myself, he had a lot of issues to deal with when it came to closing on this deal due to my credit history, down payment amount, and choice of truck. After sending me multiple trucks to choose from and receiving just as many that I was interested in we finally sealed the deal. I definitely recommend Big Star to anyone who’s looking to purchase a first truck or add another to there fleet.————-edited 7/25/23. I made my first payment on 12/23/21 which was the first of 21 payments. Now that I’m at my 20th payment things are starting to get a little sketchy. "We bought a 2015 Peterbuilt 587 from Big Star in February 2020. Our Account Manager is Chris D. he, I can say is awesome. We had been through three trucks from reputable dealers on the east coast before stumbling on Big Star by accident when looking for a replacement for the latest truck that blew up which was from our local Peterbuilt dealer. Chris made our experience seamless. The entire process took exactly one week from application to driving away, and would have been faster except we had to fly from Maryland to Arizona and that took two days. We have now had the truck for two months and have only had two issue with it, which were addressed immediately by Chris when we contacted him about them. The truck was in the condition he said it would be when we arrived to pick it up and has been a wonderful addition to our farm. So much so that we now bought three more trucks from Big Star this week. So, if you are looking for a good truck where they actually stand behind their warranty (with the exception of the DEF system) although I was informed they are adding that as well to their warranty go to Big Star and ask for Chris D. We are truly happy with our purchases and Chris I promise wont let you down and even answers the phone at 9 o'clock at night to address his clients needs. I was highly skeptical of Big Star at first because it sounded to good to be true and usually that ends up with the client being burned, but so far we have had no issues what so ever and Chris has bent over backwards to help us get what we need. Now I will say expect to pay more than a regular dealership. You will actually pay close to a grand a week for a good truck but that includes a maintenance fund that you can use either for actual maintenance or towards the purchase of the truck at the end of the contract or whenever you wish to payoff the vehicle. So, yes while 1K a week is expensive, obviously if you can't afford 1K a week for a truck payment you shouldn't own a Semi in the first place.
