"I have my own law office. On a Friday, July 7, a client paid us $6,000.00 as a retainer. I worked over the weekend and completed three documents for the client at a cost between $2000-3,000. On July 28, my wonderful admin assistant saw $6,000 had been withdrawn from my trust account. AA called intuit to follow up. AA was told the charges were being disputed and money had been withdrawn due to our failure to respond to notice of the dispute. My office did not receive any notice of the dispute. It was determined Intuit had an ancient email on file for one of our previous bookkeeper’s firm. Once we discovered the dispute, we disputed the partial refund of their retainer. As of today, August 17, 2023, Intuit is withholding $5,900 of unrelated clients’ payments to my office. As of today, August 17, 2023, we were informed for the first time that a chargeback of $456.00 had been due for “quite some time.” Quickbooks cannot tell us what constitutes the “charge back”. We were threatened that Intuit would shut down our account. Our wonderful AA has had multiple conversations with Intuit between July 28, 2023 and today. Are there other small businesses out there that would like to form a class in order to sue Intuit for their extortion of small businesses? If so, please post and let’s find a class-action attorney and try to litigate some decency and some professional business practices from this conglomerate."

"Software is very inferior to other companies, the cost of this software for doing income taxes is outrageous. Mine should have been free. In fact, another company filed them for free! A mistake was made with my pension money, they subtracted out the state tax and said that the difference was my refund due. I clearly stated it as income. Don’t do business with this company, very overpriced, inferior product."

"i hated turbo tax not only was the process not transparent but i had over thousands pulled out of my account and than some snarky rep. to act inconvenienced. had to call for a manager with the conclusion once the irs gets their money to bad yet she had a heart. AWFUL. have a question? look it up. WHAT?! than i get these emails about resigning ect. but theres no direct contact to share so every time i see these automatic messages in my email about the 'customer service' its irritating. felt compelled to use that address you include at the bottom of the ad to find this nice little round table of reviews. maybe there is someone that actually scans and reads these experiences."
