"There was a simple error made on my partner’s and my taxes and luckily we got the insurance but this error set us back 6-8 WEEKS to receive our taxes. We have two children and are in between housing. We NEEDED this money and made the absolute earliest appointment we could to file. Because of this error, we are HOMELESS with two children and living apart from their father/my partner because we have no place to go. This would have been avoided had the tax “expert” not left a post-it note on the front page of our taxes. I’m giving 2 stars because we’ve used them before with no issues, it’s fast and convenient when they don’t ruin your life, and we were told we’d be given a discount on the fees for the inconvenience. Don’t know how much or if it will happen but I’m still homeless as of now because of this…"
