"Abel Lipps was our tech today, Feb.2020. Said it would be $300 to clean our inner coil; wasn’t covered under our Comfort Club plan or our 10 year warranty. I declined & said we’d do it ourselves. He said they’d replace the compressor if it went bad, but not clean it’s inner coil. Since that made no sense to me, I said then maybe we should just let the compressor blow (sarcasm). NOW …when we got our receipt, MISTER Abel Lipps notation was “Customer does not want cleaning and would rather have compressor blow-up” (!!???!!!!) Say WHAT?!!!! What kind of company is this anyway, who have techs that note something so ludicrous???? So, I called & spoke to Donna who was audibly shocked and she said that notation was inappropriate and not even logical. She stated a new receipt without that notation would be emailed to me. We WILL NOT recommend Simply The Best …especially since they have SIMPLY THE WORST technicians!!!! (Further, I pay $15/mo for the Comfort Plan = $180/year ...only to be told they don't cover the inner coil cleaning. So for $180/year, Simply the Best comes our 2 times a year to check the unit, only to be told the Comfort Club doesn't cover all cleaning (??!!). Soooo ...as long as the unit doesn't require a comprehensive cleaning, I'm paying $90 per visit (??!!!!). I called Patrick Riley Heating & Cooling and they'll come out 2 times a year AT $20 PER VISIT !! That's a $140 savings for me! Simply The Best's Comfort Club is a joke and a total rip off, so I cancelled it.) Then ...I did the math: I pay $15/mo for the Comfort Plan = $180/year ...only to be told they don't cover the inner coil cleaning. So for $180/year, Simply the Best comes our 2 times a year to JUST to check the unit, only to find out their Comfort Club and the unit warranty don't cover all cleaning (??!!). (BTW: We overheard this tech, Abel Lipps, on the phone to his office ...and the inner coil cleaning STARTED at $600+ !! Then, it gradually went down to $350 ...THEN between Simply The Best's office & Mr. Abel Lipps, it finally went down to $300 (?????!!!!!). I'm telling you all, Simply The Best is only ok as long as you have NO problems or require NO cleaning. Don't turn away from this company ...RUN AWAY !!!!!!) We WILL NOT recommend Simply The Best …especially since they have SIMPLY THE WORST technician like MISTER Abel Lipps!!!!"

Last year he installed the clean air system. He's done our Spring and Fall checkups. And today he installed an Ecobee thermostat. We have been very satisfied with everything he has done for us."

"I've use this company since about 2010 when my old system needed help. They were able to limp it along for a few years until I could afford a new one. The install was OK, but have learned that it was below par. Before my recent check-up by Trevor I felt I was getting decent service for the money. After Trevors visit I feel better about renewing the service contract for another 5 years. He corrected a miscalculation from a previous tech along with an issue that was left over from the install."
