"This is a review of Joy Garvey’s Office. I was a client from November 2022 to October 2023. The cost was $14,000. Garvey was a good litigator for me with my stepdaughter regarding my husband’s estate. Her support of her staff did little to change the issues I had with the office. I was not sent all the documents necessary to open an estate account with his bank. For 8 days the office argued with the bank and me about what was needed. The bank was not going to change their rules. It cost me time and billing hours while the discussion was occurring. I called again and asked for a new document packet, and it was sent 48 hours later, and I opened an estate account with them. They did not respond to my inquiries about the law. But several times I was charged for issues that had been resolved in earlier emails. My account was not credited for payments sent until I verified them through my bank. The staff may have been busy, but I did not feel supported with my case."
