"When my dachshund Murphy was diagnosed with kidney disease, Palo Verde Animal Hospital staff and Dr. Herrold really came through. They provided a treatment plan to keep my pooch comfortable during his last days. Everyone at the clinic is so caring and it is truly sincere. Dr. H took the extra steps and performed research to ensure Murphy was on the best treatment he could be. I got to know the staff as I was in the clinic 3 days a week. Melanie and Lisa T at the front desk were very helpful and gracious whenever we came in. When Murphy reached the end stage and was ready to cross the Rainbow Bridge, it happened quickly. Dr. Herrold, not scheduled that day at the clinic, came in to take care of Murphy and transition him to his new heavenly life. To me, this reflects real caring. If she hadn’t made the extra trip to the clinic, Murphy would have suffered over the weekend and most of Monday before I could get an appointment. Thank you Dr. Herrold and the entire staff, including Cathy, Javier, Cindi, Melanie, Lisa & more. I was able to have nearly 7 more months with Murphy. He is missed but thank you to all. "I have been going to Palo Verde Animal Hospital for a few years now. I have had good news visits and bad news visits. Even though the outcomes of the visits are different one thing never changes, the staff. Everyone that works there is a special person. From the vets, the techs, front desk and the new addition of the groomers, everyone is a pleasure to work with. As far as costs, vet offices are expensive no matter where you go. But this is what they do for a living, and it's even harder to do because A) animals don't tell you what is wrong, and B) they have to also deal with the owners who aren't always the best. I will pay the fees. The care credit card is a great option and makes it easier to say yes to treatment. Everyone there treats the animals with respect, dignity and love. Never have I felt like we were in bad hands while at this vet, even when we received the news you don't want. So show your appreciation and tell them that you care, because I know that they care for our pets!"
