"Dr. Hartle was so kind and caring when she came to our home to euthanize our queen, Georgie, who had an incurable form of lymphoma on her nose. She died surrounded by her loved ones on our bed. I'm so relieved that I didn't have to take her to an office that would have made her scared. While I hope I don't require this service again anytime soon, I am so thankful for the kindness and compassion shown by the doc. She made one of the darkest days a bit easier for all involved. From the bottom of my heart thank you so much."
"I’ve wanted to leave a review for this clinic for 3 years, but I was too heartbroken to. They helped me with the passing away of my dog Marley of 12 years. First to remove a growth on his paw and do an amputation, then to help my family put him to rest after his convulsions became too severe. I can’t thank them enough for coming to our house and trying (for hours!) to get Marley sedated enough to take him for surgery. At no point did the staff ever become impatient with my 100+ pound, aggressive dog , at no point was anyone ever anything but kind. I just want to say thank you all for making this terrible, terrible moment less difficult by showing us so much kindness and compassion. Marley is in doggy heaven now and he is very thankful you all helped lessen his pain. From the bottom of my heart, thank you all so very much."
"Lucky says, "Thank you"! So wonderful to know there are people who really care about the health of our pets! Thanks Dr. Martin and staff..clean facility, warm caring, kind hearts, thorough examination, knowledgeable more than fair pricing! Desert Paws is our place to "heel"..paws down!"
"I had to make the most painful decision to take my Bri’s suffering away. Not only did Desert Paw’s Mobile Vet understand the urgency for a same day appointment, but she was extremely compassionate and caring during the situation. She allowed me all the time I needed to say goodbye to my baby. I hope you don’t find yourself in this situation, but if you do, I highly recommend."
"My Dad passed away in 2017 and our family dog Duke was my Dad’s best friend, so he was more than a dog to our family. Duke was 15 years old and he hasn’t been eating well for about a month. The night before last I woke up to Duke bleeding from his mouth and nose. My family and I were frantically trying to figure out what to do for Duke. My sister came over to help at 4am and her Van got stuck in the driveway with an ignition lock malfunction. We called the emergency vet after finally squeezing my car out of the driveway past my sisters 1999 eco line van with Duke wrapped in a towel, and we just started driving toward the emergency vet. We called the emergency vet and the lady on the phone was hard to understand, not really compassionate, and she said they were at only accepting emergencies. Duke stopped bleeding and we took that as a sign to turn around and call the mobile vet. We called many mobile vets without speaking to anyone directly. Desert Paws called us back really quickly. After we talked to them that first time, they answered every time after we called. Yesterday my brother, his wife, and his kids got to come say goodbye to Duke. Dr. Haley Violetta came to our house the next day at 9am for end of life treatment for Duke. Duke’s bleeding started again this morning and is was incredibly hard to watch. He still went out to pee and poop even with blood coming out of his mouth and nose. Dr. Violetta assured us that this was the right thing and the most compassionate thing for Duke. She walked us through the process and was really nice and loving to Duke. We sat with Duke and said goodbye. My sister got a paw print of Duke’s Paw and Duke got carried out in his favorite bed with a nice blanket covering him. We will pick up his ashes and put them next to my Dad’s ashes. Thank you Dr. Violetta for treating Duke so nicely and for helping us understand that this was the right decision. We are all still crying but I know that Duke isn’t suffering anymore, and that he got to stay near us when he passed away."
