"Dr Bolek took great care to explain what she was going do to my cats as they were having their teeth cleaned. The whole team was great from the making the appointment to the follow up call"
"We had a wonderful experience here! We were able to take our dog and our cat in at the same time to get their dental cleanings done, which was really convenient for us since we are not local to Tucson. We even got a discount for bringing them both in at once, which really helped with the cost. It does cost more than a cleaning from our regular vet, but it is well worth it because these folks are board certified specialists and do thorough monitoring during the procedure when the animal is under anesthesia. Dr. Bolek and Samantha (and the whole staff!) did a wonderful job taking care of our babies and kept us completely up to date the whole time. We are really grateful to have these folks within driving distance and will continue to take our babies here each year to get their teeth cleaned."
"I would recommend anyone to Arizona Veterinary Dental Specialists. My dog, Wiley, had a large mass on his lower jaw that needed to be evaluated and ultimately removed - a big surgery for a senior chihuahua. Dr. Ann Bolek was an amazing consultant and surgeon, taking the time to speak with me for multiple consults, matter of factly and compassionately hearing and addressing my concerns, and ultimately performing a beautiful surgery on my little guy that left him healthier and happier (and if possible, even cuter) than before. She was a wonderful resource and the personal care I received was phenomenal. It's a very nice facility that welcomes you and your pets with the care of family members. Thank you, team, for taking such good care of my little guy."
"These people are hands down the best Vet office in town. They took us in on an emergency basis for my dog that was having dental issues and in a lot of pain. We've dealt with periodontal issues for many years we've had many different experiences with cleanings and such. Everybody at this office was absolutely amazing. We were greeted and our baby Gypsy was given the most attentive personalized care. We have had a really rough year with my wife ending up with a very long Hospital stay and a feeding tube placement and then removal later on. Things have not been so great for us financially. This office was so wonderful and they were able to work with us in a very big way to get this done today. They were so accommodating and so flexible. I could tell that their main goal was getting our dog feeling better before she left that office. They legitimately cared for her and worked with us financially. They even took an adorable Halloween photo of her and gave us copies. Wow! I owe them everything they literally were superheroes to us today. 12/10 Stars ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆"
"I am considered a low-income individual, and man, it's a bummer to see that people leave negative reviews for things just because they couldn't (or wouldn't) afford them. That's like leaving a negative review for an upscale restaurant because you can't (or don't want to) pay for the meal! Or feeling angry because you could really use a trip to the spa but it's just too pricey to justify. It doesn't mean that the food isn't good or your spa experience would be a bad investment. It just means that you chose to spend your hard-earned money on other things, which is a personal choice that in no way reflects upon the service you have refused. Truth is, you get what you pay for, and in my experience this is particularly applicable when it comes to canine and feline dental care. I have had 15 fabulous years with my Chihuahua-best-friend and have ultimately settled on only ever taking her to specialists for dental work. Yes, the cost can be high, but the cost of making another choice can dangerous in other ways. The services we receive when we choose dedicated specialists are far superior and will likely increase the overall health and longevity of the lives of those furry ones that we love so much. Not to mention, we get the opportunity to support folks who have chosen to expand their knowledge and expertise in areas that others only scratch the surface of. My deepest heartfelt gratitude goes out to Samantha, Kya, Lisa, and Dr. Bolek - the members of the team I had the pleasure of meeting who just made my senior best bud's experience of 19 extractions much, much more pleasant and easeful than it would've been if I'd chosen to go somewhere "cheaper". To me, she is worth it, and supporting this team is worth it. Absolutely no regrets. If you should choose to take your fuzzy friend here, I hope your experience is as good as ours was!"
