We had to put our 13 year old Buddy down that was our first experience with Acacia Animal Hospital. It is why we have made them our Vet. We live all the way in Corona de Tucson. "Every experience I have had at Acacia has been absolutely amazing! They are affordable, clean, caring, and scheduling is a breeze. I have a fearful and sometimes reactive rescue dog as well as a happy, easy going dog who loves going to the vet and they are very accommodating and thoughtful about each of them. By calling ahead I was able to enter the office calmly during a quiet period and go straight in to a room to avoid any commotion in the lobby that my nervous dog generally struggles with. The team members ask questions about my dogs history and genuinely care about how they are doing - I have already received follow up calls/emails checking in on them! The staff is patient and understanding of both my dogs needs and did not rush their care. Dr. Hendel was especially amazing and did not push either of my dogs boundaries and had a very calm and compassionate approach that made their experience a positive one. The vet techs and front desk staff are just as friendly and pricing is very reasonable. I’ve been to other vet hospitals around town and this is by far the best experience my pups and I have had.. won’t be taking them anywhere else now! Big thank you from Nero and Beo "

"Dr. Laundonio is simply, AMAZING!!! His vast knowledge and experience in animal care are both Impressive and Refreshing. His humble and easy-going approach can dissolve the anxieties of even the most uneasy fur-parent by building rapport and thoroughly answering each question or concern. I have take my furr-babies for their ongoing care to Acacia Animal Hospital over the course of many years. I took my last baby girl there to say my final goodbye when it was too painful for both she and I to go on. The degradation of her body was unexoected and accelerated. They turned our final moments together into something beautiful, and ensured our departure was treated Respectfully, Delicately, and Memorable when sending her off to play over the Rainbow Bridge. They lavished her with the spoils of life during her final moments; a plethora of cookies, and treats. I also received a personal hand-written sympathy card in the mail filled with kind words of empathy, encouragement, and understanding from first-hand experiences. It was a welcomed gesture for such a delicate time when saying goodbye to the love of my life, Eyeress. I took a five-year break before I was healed comfortably enough to adopt another rescue and begin the process of loving another furr-baby. I will never take my four-legged family members anywhere else but Acacia. I encourage everyone to try the Acacia Experience and see what has been missing! "

"(Edited to add description) I HIGHLY recommend Acacia Animal Hospital for their compassionate care and attentive service from every single vet/tech/receptionist my dogs Cubone and Eowyn have seen. It's rare to find vets with consistently great service that truly care about your pets, and they hit all the marks. They sincerely listen to all of my concerns and answer all of my questions without judgement. I am a skeptic, but I trust Acacia 100% with my dogs' health. Because of them my dogs LIKE going to the vet :) Exams are done thoroughly, and they provide lots of positive reinforcement to make it a good experience for the animal. Last year I was temporarily caring for a 110+lb very reactive (bite risk) mastiff mix, and they went out of their way to make sure we were both safe and comfortable. They had him begging for pets by the time they were through! Even for administrative tasks, they're very helpful - I had issues with licensing my rescue due to not having proof of spay, and they somehow found her PACC records from when she was a puppy despite issues getting info from the original owner + no microchip to go off of. There have been times I've called/emailed to see if a situation was urgent or could wait until their next opening, and they are quick to respond. (They even called me a couple days later to check how my pet was doing!) When they're busy, service is still friendly and not rushed. I could honestly type up a whole book about this place. It's a huge weight off my shoulders to have such reliable people in charge of my pets' health!"
