"I love Northwest Vet Hospital. My family has taken all of our animals there for the past 20+ years. Today unfortunately we had to put our 17 year old baby down. I called 3 other vets, to check availability and cost, one being Paws on river and they wanted to charge $600+ to euthanize her there at the vet, not at home! And they couldn’t get her in till next week! She weighs 10lbs. I was shocked and disgusted that someone would charge that much and expect me to make my dog suffer for 5 more days. I called northwest and not only did they get me in within the hour, but it was literally a QUARTER of the price Paws charged. Literally! The staff and doctor were so incredibly caring, gentle and sweet, made us at ease that we were choosing the right thing for our mini dachshund. They couldn’t have been any nicer and they aren’t trying to make you pay a RIDICULOUS price! HIGHLY RECOMMEND"
"We found ourselves in a pinch last year and came to VCA. While Dr. love was practicing, we experienced exceptional service and care. I originally gave VCA 5 stars. However, with the most recent diagnosis of my pet, I feel compelled to change that. Communication has been scarce and inaccurate-causing confusion and frustrations as the client/ patient. It’s essential to have competent communication, resources and support for newly diagnosed patients and humans. We don’t know what we don’t know… Perhaps providing a more in-depth look at managing diseases would be helpful. The generic print off you get is not quite enough to get everyone started at home. Especially when dealing with more serious health issues such as diabetes. Also, making sure a patient/human is setup for success when going home for treatment. I could not afford the recommended hospitalization of my dog, so with the approval of the veterinarian we were sent home to start immediate home care. Had a veterinarian provided me with a paper prescription for a second bottle of insulin, I wouldn’t have had to rush to the emergency vet and spend an additional $400 to get a new bottle after I accidentally dropped it."
"Since northwest was bought out, all I had noticed is that this company wants to sell you on everything that’s not wrong with your animal. I’ve been coming here for many years. I have eight pets, and I will never come back here after my last experience. Dr. Jackson literally told me my dog may have tears and his hind legs. The next doctor checked it out and said no those are just muscles. Most pugs may not have that strong muscles but this one does. They also told me that a small black mole on his leg was benign. In the next sentence, they wanted to use a syringe to take fluid out of it and test it for more money, just to say. We never know if it’s actually benign or if it is bad. They gave me a price of $1500 to do a neuter, but one of his testicles is inside of him and hasn’t dropped and so they would have to treat it like a spay is what they told me. So $1500 for spay And add $500-800 if I want the tiny mole removed… Stay away from this place Since Doc Love left There is no love here for anything other then money."
"My dogs surgery center referred me to David Constanza for post-op rehabilitation for my dachshund named Louie. Even after FHO surgery Louie was not gaining mobility of his rear leg as fast as he should have. It was only after taking my Louie to see David that Louie finally began to regain mobility of his leg. David is equipped with so many different tools and equipment to assist with different mobility exercises, he has a canine rehabilitation gym! Thank you David, for being kind and patient with my Louie, thank you for your world of knowledge when it comes to dogs and physical therapy, we learned so much from you, most importantly thank you for helping him gain mobility in his leg! Thank you for helping him heal faster with the Companion Laser, it was a wonderful treatment. The laser did such an incredible job that his surgery scar is non existent, his hair grew back very fast, and his pain was less and less every time after using it.Thank you David for your work, it is such a needed service in Tucson! Very pleased with our results and experience. Louie and I can’t thank you enough!"
"David who does physical therapy has helped my dog so much. He is an absolute joy to be around, and the prices are affordable. I couldn't ask for a better or more likeable pt guy. My dog goes wild when I say his name because she wants to go see him."
