"I went into PLS with a Authentic State Tax refund check and was denied to cash it! I must say the check was for a large amount , but in saying that I had all documents to prove my identity the address on the check matched the address on the state Identification, I had my social security card the letter the tax came with everything checked out! Not to say the Arizona department of revenue is right down the street on Monroe! I waited over 45 minutes and got so upset I left. No I don't have a negative history with PLS. I feel they gear their business toward the Latino customer and treat African Americans as if none of us are legitimate! Now I don't say this lightly and never play the race card,but, this is evident! They had the time to call anyone they wanted to verify and with a check that big ONLY A FOOL WOULD TRY TO CASH A FAKE ONE!!!!!COME ON NOW REALLY!!! They could have walked it to Arizona department of revenue and showed them the check to see if it checked out which it would have. I know they don't care about my business because they have so much from their preferred clientele. Won't be doing business there! Thanks for making this veteran feel unwelcome in the country I fought for and when I say fight I mean fight! Close to losing my life kind of fight! So yes thank you!"
