"Good people, fair price, more than what I expected"

"Please be careful, I highly recommend you DO NOT take your jewellery of any kind unless you want your fine quality jewelry to depreciate in value, here's why. I brought my 24k bullion of fine gold just for a simple appraisal. At first one of the employees was skeptical about its authenticity because he said hes never seen one with the markings on the bullion it had. He was testing it on the electrical testing machine then said it was not testing for 24k that it was only testing for 18k,even though it has markings on both the frame which is stamped 750(18k) and the bullion stamped 999.9 24k. He then wanted a second opinion from the other employee which right away puts it in his hand and feels it kinda bouncing it on the palm of his hand and replies this doesn't feel right and I think the weight is off. The two employees started leaning more towards that it might be plated. He then said that he was going to have to take it out of the 18k gold frame to test it by doing the scratch test method, I replied "just be careful please but I'm sure you know what you're doing, I'm sure it won't be notice since it has been tested 2x before using the same method in other jewellery shops so I'm sure everything will be fine" since I figured this guy knew what he was doing, he uses small filler which kinda worried me but figured I'm sure it's his way of testing the gold so I didn't say anything. Once he is done the tests confirms it to be 24k. After confirming that IT WAS authentic they gave me a low offer on it, which I refused, so then he hands it back to me outside its frame which i replied if he can please put it back how it was because i dont have the tools to do so myself. So then he rushes putting it back in which I dont know if he was annoyed but he hands it to me then I went on my way. Only to find this surpise later at home when I took a closer look, framed is gapped and clamps are crooked and one left up with scratch that is noticeable and the last is the big chunk of a gap on the lip that made me question his experience in his profession because this is just crazy to believe."

They have everything - jewelry, watches, coins, etc. I was laser focused on the diamond case where they had some gorgeous rings and earrings."
