"If they call you and you're not able to answer your phone then good luck communicating back with the staff. I tried to call back 5 times and every single staff tried to avoid me by transferring me to the "front desk." They actually put on an unknown phone so you hang up. That's VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and rude. If you don't like doing the job then quit."
"They say walk-ins are welcome but that's not true they won't even help you until you go on two different sites and fill out forms"
"Have been to workshops here on how to get a job when I first moved to Yuma and job fairs. Later, i subbed at their alternative high school. I loved the teachers, the secretary, And the principal. The students were all there to LEARN so I experienced nothing but positive things here. I think its a wonderful idea to offer people 16-21 an opportunity for a high schook diploma without having to actually go through "the system". This is a wonderful school."
"They seem all cheery and helpful and get you to come to orientation and talk about helping you get a certificate and make it seem like they are really gonna help you with your goal. Once I talked with someone one on one, they said i wasnt eligible for the program because I already had a part time job (13 hours a week). They sent me for job training to three different places saying they would help me with training in that field. But in order to do that, I had to wait to be hired. After that, if they saw I was serious, then they would help me. But, if you have no job, you automatically get into the program. That's bogus."
"Over the last 4 months I have been a client of YPIC, I have had to file 2 formal complaints/grievances against them, (1st was fraud on their staff with my file, 2nd was of poor correspondence with my case mgr that led to a No Call No Show for her). Most of the staff fall short on the quality that is expected of them when you first arrive. I found myself lost in translation with several employees there due to their heavy foreign dialect. This is all from my own personal experience with them."
