"Tried to show up in person to check out the college and I find out that it’s closed on a Friday. Like bro what type of school/ college is going to be closed on a dang Friday (a workday)??? I tried to call and was told to go to a website and I’m not gunna go to a website just to tell the admin that it was such a waste of time to try and come check out the college"

"I currently attend here and I was just on the phone asking to be pointed in the right direction about a question I had because I called admissions by mistake, the lady who answered the phone had a HUGE attitude and made snarky comments. GCCs motto and school message is all about trying to help the students but some of the employees are so rude when you're asking for help it's like they really don't care as long as they get money. I can see why the campuses are always so empty bc students don't feel welcomed when they try to ask questions."

"I had called this morning for a simple question because I was uncertain of going on about it. Last month I had two ladies be able to help me register for a summer class to take for the summer and they were very nice upon helping me out with the registration. I’ve expected today no less because I had hope of a simple question answered quickly. It was the case however the lady over phone was a different person than before and was very rude. Wasn’t nice or helpful upon helping me with how I would ask for a official transcript and whether I would send one or they would. This was my first time transferring credits and wanted helped like I thought I would. Did not help me with where to find it whatsoever because it was my first time using the website since I’m only attending GCC for a summer class. After she had finally told me rudely where I would be able to find the order, I had said thanks and was in the process of explaining why I wasn’t able to figure out the situation when she cuts me off mid sentence. It was 9:30 in the morning so I had no idea if she wasn’t have a good morning and didn’t have coffee but I wasn’t sure how to make of this. If you are calling to inquiry about something, make sure it’s not early in the morning, or else you’ll have someone rude over the phone try and ruin the start of your day."
