"I was part of TAFA for all of middle school and part of high school. When I tell you I hated it...I HATED IT. It felt more like a cult then anything. They would preach to us that we have autism and need to learn to accept it and that they can help us 'control' our autism. They also didn't take care of their facility well so seeing reviews for mold doesn't surprise me."
"Patient and compassionate health care professionals. Woman run. Non-intimating environment. Glad we have this resource in our city."
"New location continues to impress! Excellent parking, quiet, and inside is just gorgeous!! This is our 3rd location in 5 years, with TAFA and my absolute favorite. Of course, my son enjoys it, and we implement each week's focus at home. He's 18 now, and the improvements in his confidence, friendships, and overall social skills are more than we could have dreamed!"
"Hi My name is Grant Anderson. I am a local independent news report who recently did a story on an issue at TAFT regarding mold. I just completed a news story that the leadership knows about, and may even have the article by now. There is mold there. I have called a mold expert and know the only acceptable proof that there is no mold is a mold report. I am still waiting for that report. Also a Dr. Barbara Nichols has become involved using the claim that there is a support group agreement to bully one of the facilitators. During the life of this group two members have attempted suicide due to harassment from Dr. Barbara Nichols and Marilyn Reisch. Stay completely away from TAFA until there is proof the mold has been removed"
"I facilitated an adult autism support group at TAFA. There was a mold issue there TAFA ignored it for a year until we voted to leave. When we tried to leave they actually tried to prevent us from separating. The majority of the group wants to leave.."
