"I initially loved my experience at Relieve Allergy. Dr. Wendt did a wonderful job listening to my concerns and guiding me through my treatment of EoE, including elimination diets and reintroduction of foods. She was compassionate and had a collaborative approach and I was excited to establish care with her. At my follow-up, she seemed to not remember me which is totally fine, but it also seemed like there was no record of my previous visit. The staff at the front desk acted like I was a new patient and I had to re-tell my medical history to the doctor and basically start over. I was reminding her that I was pregnant at our previous visit (only 7 weeks though) and she admitted she didn't remember me, but then later in the appointment she was like, "Oh, yes, I remember you were more round at the last appointment." I was not more round at the last appointment (I was definitely not showing and probably smaller then, than I was post-partum) and that's kind of insulting to say, even to a pregnant person. She could have kept that to herself or just apologized for not remembering me. Anyway, she was still helpful and kind and encouraged me to have a skin test for environmental allergies in case addressing those could help my EoE. I had to cancel my testing several times because I was sick with COVID and then had a long and intense post-viral infection after COVID and didn't want to come in while I had a fever. When I finally came in, it was not Dr. Wendt who reviewed my results with me, but it was the PA on staff, which was fine but I never saw Dr. Wendt again. The PA took over my treatment and while she acted confident in her ability to treat EoE, she did not in fact treat me with the most recent evidence based treatments. She had me eliminate ALL the foods that I reacted to on my skin testing, which made me feel weak, irritable, tired, and not be able to think clearly. I looked gaunt and ill and was emotionally struggling. I had asked her to me referred to a dietitian so I could have guidance through the diet. I never received the referral. I ended up quitting my job and starting mental health therapy and then quitting the diet shortly after that because I decided that I was at risk by continuing to basically starve (not to mention the PA knew I had a history of an eating disorder). My PCP was worried about malnutrition and mental health at that point and encouraged me to try a medication instead so I could get my nutritional needs met. I was desperate for help so I got into the Mayo Clinic and never returned to Relieve for follow up treatment (except to continue allergy shots). The staff who administered the shots seemed organized and competent. The front desk staff and administrators, though, were very unprofessional. There was so much turnover and their billing practices were not honest. They kept trying to charge me twice for large bills and did not seem organized. They would argue with me about what I owed until I pulled out my EOBs and my payment records to show them exactly what I owed. The owner of the clinic was condescending and rude. The staff at the front was so unorganized and it was impossible to get through on the phone to ask questions or make appointments. I moved out of the state a few months ago and needed to bring my shots with me. They did not provide me with the appropriate paperwork or information to hand carry my serums. My new provider and I tried for over a month to get in touch with Relieve with no help. We ended up deciding to re-test for environmental allergens and create a new serum. It was very frustrating because I had already paid for allergy testing and the serums at Relieve."

"I want to offer a fair and concise review. I want this to help support future patients in being able to make a decision about their healthcare. Dr. Wendt does a great job in certain areas. I felt heard and listened to in my appointments. Stacy, the nurse who administers shots, is fantastic. Stacy is organized and on top of it. The reason for the 2 is the turnover in office staff, the general disorganization in the practice, difficulty getting someone on the phone, prescriptions taking up to 3 weeks to be filled, not receiving a return phone call after leaving multiple messages, and lack of customer service. At the end of the day if a doctor doesn’t have an efficiently running practice, they can’t effectively serve their patients."

"Believe everything you're reading about the poor service and abhorrent billing practices of this Office. Just got a suspicious text claiming they want MORE money, my wife and I haven't been there in months and will not go back! Called in and they wanted $34 from November of 2022. I paid and informed them we will never be coming back and not to contact us for any reason. LITERALLY 5-minutes after getting off the phone they send a solicitation text trying to sell me the doctors book! Here it is (Link Removed): Dr. Wendts book on sale today only. Buy it now at: WhatsEatingOurKids What a JOKE! This from the doctor that asked my wife which inhaler she 'likes' and starts there. Multiple 'trips' and 'fees' for what should have been done in one visit...just to run up insurance and copays. I will be reporting this doctor and office to every state governing board I can. Stay Away Folks."

"If I could give this office a zero star rating I would. The billing here is a nightmare! They tell you, you have no balance and then 2 months later you have an outstanding balance of hundreds of dollars although you haven't been in the office for months. I am positive I have over paid for most of my treatments here. There is absolutely no organization! I will no longer continue my care at this office. This is my worst experience with a Dr. Office."
