"Dr. Rose literally saved my life. I went in for a Covid test, and Dr. Rose strongly suggested I have a prostate exam. I was diagnosed with advanced cancer and had surgery. He was on top of my well being the entire time."
"Dr Rose has been my primary care doctor for years, he and his staff have an excellent understanding of my medical conditions, explain everything to me in words I understand. Response time is immediate, I appreciate the fact they are knowledgeable and up to date on medical issues and know which specialist to send me to, when needed. Thank you Dr Rose and staff for your care."
"For more than 20 years I have been a patient of Dr. Roger Rose. He has seen me through serious illness and other health issues. He is a kind, caring physician. He listens. He asks questions. His skills are excellent. I trust him completely. I joined MDVIP so I can continue to be one of his patients. I recommend him highly."
"I can't say enough good things about Dr Rose and his staff. I've always liked him as my doctor but the latest experiences has made me love Dr Rose. My husband had open heart surgery a couple of months ago. Dr Rose has taken care of him since a couple of days after he was released from the hospital. He has treated my husband with extensive knowledge of all aspects of his surgery. Dr Rose has ALWAYS been available via text, phone or in office appointments. What a great comfort it is knowing Dr Rose is there when you need him."
"I really liked Dr. Rose the couple of times I met him. I can't say much for the practice with my experience. Once I went in and told the PA that I had sinus issues and it was hard for me to breath and my chest felt tight and congested. She immediately ordered a EKG. After she came back and said it was normal she told me to get some over the counter stuff for sinus. She then wanted me to go have blood work done. I explained I just had blood work done. She said that they may not have covered everything. We all knew it was a sinus issue so I just said OK and left. My last experience was I had changed insurance providers at the beginning of 2018. I needed to change the way I received my prescriptions. I had a couple of refills available but I could no longer get them at the local drug store. After calling and explaining this to them, a couple of days later I received my prescription in the mail. I then received a call from the office of Dr. Rose and was told I had to come in and see before I could get a refill. What??? After explaining an appointment was made. They said Dr. Rose would not approve any more refills until I saw him. A few days later a called back and asked to have my blood work done before seeing the doctor. I wanted to review the results with my doctor and not just get them from a phone call. Later I received a call that Dr. Rose would not approve the blood work until he saw me first. I ask why. They told me that he may want to take extra blood work after seeing me. I asked why and it just became an argument. I wanted to see the doctor and after that if he needed to take more blood work after the initial that was fine. No they said. He will not approve the blood work until I see him first and then if I want to go over them I will have to come back. I said I am the patient and I want to have the blood work done first and then review them with the doctor in person or you can just cancel my appointment. They said ok we will cancel your appointment. I fully understand that this is there normal way of doing things. I feel like it doesn't matter what I want as a patient they want to do it their way or else. So here I have no refills of medication and no doctor to see. In my eyes, they don't care about my well being or my concerns as a patient, only doing things their way and collecting my money for office visits, which takes weeks to get. So, Good doctor, bad practice."
