"This practice is a waste of your time. First, you have to "apply" to be a patient. They assign you to a nurse practitioner and you have to go every 6 months if you need scripts filled. Nurse practitioners leave (or get fired), Dr. Wells doesn't plan to hire anyone else. Now, because I only saw nurse practitioners (and they are gone and the only ones I was ever scheduled with), the Dr wouldn't see me for my appointment that was scheduled 6 months ago! Now, she can't handle all of the patients. Of course the lobby was empty so I don't know where they hide them. Find another Doctor's office, this one is a joke!"
"Patients are treated like nothing more than a paycheck. Worst doctors office experience of my life, please don't go there. If you want a doctor that will help you because they want to see you get better find somewhere else. My whole time speaking to the doctor she maintained a rude and condescending tone. Didn't want to order any tests, and said that i needed to see a specialist. Went to the ER straight after where a nice doctor did 5 tests and found out my problem. All of these tests could have 100% been done at the primary care office as i have had them done by other primary care doctors in the past. They don't care. I left sobbing. Edit because of the reply, I did not require any of the equipment that they mentioned, another doctor who listened more carefully was able to diagnose me without needing any of that equipment. I also wasn't referred to the ER, I was referred by the family care doctor to go to a gastroenterologist, which wouldn't have helped me at all as it wasnt a gastrointestinal issue, which I believe the doctor would have figured out had she tried. I would love a reply explaining why Dr. Wells is allowed to be condescending, rude and disrespectful to patients. When I asked her to speak in a nicer tone she refused and claimed I had not been disrespected. Honestly I just want to save others from having the horrible experience I did."
"Avoid it, not worth the wait or trouble. All was great when Sarah was still there, the office could always accommodate me for labs (I'm a fainter and need to lie down), I could also get seen rather quickly. In June I had an issue that was extremely debilitating as I wasn't able to eat or talk without being in excruciating pain, I was told that Sarah was gone, I was in so much pain I couldn't be picky. The nurse I saw was wildly inappropriate, kept making comments on how nervous I looked and that it was ok because she herself had a plethora of mental health issues. Keep in mind that as she was babbling this nonsense about my mental health, and hers (100% unrelated to my problem) I could not respond, I could not talk. I left in tears, she would not stop talking and made me feel awful. For my physical I asked to see Dr. Wells, she was nice, but not very listening to me when I voiced my concerns regarding my history, she was a bit dismissive in comparison to how caring Sarah was. The office also refused to draw my blood because I'm a faint risk, I had my blood drawn many times before and it wasn't an issue, and I was sent to Sonora Quest. More recently I broke my foot, went through the urgent care process and recommended I see a podiatrist and my PCP in the meantime. I called the office in October, they didn't have an appointment until December, I explained the issue that I needed to have a referral and a doctor's note for work to be allowed to wear comfortable shoes. The front desk person said the doctor would call me back, it's been 3 weeks and I haven't heard from the office. Don't go, don't trust them, don't believe a word they say, and you will be shamed for the psych Rx you take. Edit to add: read their responses to bad reviews. They shame the nurses who quit the office and accuse them of working for big corporations. If you do you own research you'll find that Sarah is now in internal medicine, not a hospice, not an insurance company. Perhaps they should be better employers and they would retain their employees more successfully. Don't accuse nurses of being greedy when it's evident the owner is the greedy one here"
"I was a patient here for 5 years. Terrible practice Dr. Wells is greedy and leaves all the work to the FNP which never last and I can see why they are doing all the hard work while she collects on it. Last straw for me was when Dr. Vercel left in August he was the best and the only reason I continued to give them my business. He was an excellent provider. The staff here are poorly trained and ill informed. Stay away from this practice!"
"Former patient of 5 years. Over a month to get an appointment for a physical. Ignored my pharmacies refill request, because the nurse who submitted the prescription was no longer there. Called this morning because I need help with my asthma, was told I should go to urgent care. Terribly unorganized, terrible communication skills, and in my opinion Dr. Wells is greedy and lazy. The nurses that left were the ones doing all the work it seems. Avoid like the plague, because if you had it, they would just tell you to go else where. 0/5 stars."
