He is compassionate and not afraid to give you the truth you need to hear. No sugar coating with him. He's personally helped me overcome the reasons I sought out his help. "Dr. Campbell was always very cold and short. Despite assuring me during my first visit that he wanted to gradually lower the amount of meds I was taking, he never followed through on that. In fact it was quite the opposite: at most visits I wasn't even asked if I thought the meds were doing their job, how I was feeling, etc. Nothing. Just in and out. I found out a few weeks ago I had to stop taking the anti-depressant, for 8+ years now, due to an interaction with a new drug I have to be taking as a breast cancer survivor. Dr. Campbell told me (via voicemail, mind you) that I could just simply stop taking this medication. That my body wouldn't even notice. What has actually happened? The most intense and brutal mental withdrawals I have ever experienced. DANGEROUS withdrawal symptoms, and increasingly worse and worse. I cannot express deeply enough that I have never felt so uncared for by a mental health professional, and that Dr. Campbell will never have my recommendation."

"Took my husband here for anxiety and depression issues. The Dr is outstanding for a psychiatrist. I don't know what some of these negative reviews are about. It seems to me some people might not understand how psychiatry works. It's mainly for diagnosis and medications or learning about how to cope (mental exercises) but not typically for counseling therapy. My husband is also seeing a Christian psychologist which is helping him work through some issues but he definitely needed to be on medication to help relieve symptoms while he works through these issues. We are both very pleased with Dr Campbell and his office staff. He sees patients in a home office in a very peaceful setting. The man is semi-retired with decades of professional experience. He's courteous and medicates conservatively."

"My son has been going through EXTREME behaviors due to many home life changes at just 7 years old. Dr. Campbell listens, give guidance in how to handle these behaviors. He understood and respected my wish to slowly medicate and that meant a lot. He even shared personal examples from his interactions with his own grandson to help me with my child. No complaints from this mom. As for the staff, I've had 2 visits and was always greeted promptly with a smile. I hope my interactions don't change moving forward."

"HORRIBLE!!! This is, by far, the worst office I've ever dealt with! Dr Campbell's heart is just NOT in it and it's quite obvious! He has zero empathy toward his patients. The "staff" are his wife and son, both of whom have major attitude issues! I have never been treated so poorly by a medical professional in my life! I would NOT recommend wasting your time with this office!!! There are much more qualified, and professional, Psychiatrists out there who would treat you a lot better and be a lot happier doing so than this clown! Take my advice, don't walk... RUN!!!"
