"Coach Erik is amazing. One lesson and he changed my golf game immediately. Super excited to go out and play golf now! Excited to book another lesson soon!"
"Erik has been coaching my daughter for the past six months. She’s a junior golfer who has been playing for several years, but had some swing issues. We selected Erik because he uses an app for communicating with both the player and parent. He recaps what to practice on after every lesson so everyone (player, parent, coach) are on the same page. He uses Trackman to give instant feedback which my daughter likes a lot. Most importantly, he is amazing with juniors and patient as she probably took a bit longer than we hoped to correct her swing. Her swing looks so much better now and her confidence in her game is returning. I highly recommend Erik as a coach especially for junior golfers."
"Erik is a great coach who has completely changed my swing for the better. It's almost unrecognizable from where we started after just a few months, gaining me complements on the course and taking 20 strokes off my average score. While I still have a long way to go, Erik has given me the tools and knowledge to improve on my own. This is the sign of a good teacher. It's been my experience with previous coaches that I will play great the day after a lesson, then lose the swing without knowing what went wrong. One advantage of Erik's style is that he understands that the body and mind change from day to day, but the fundamentals are the same. If you learn how to strike an iron in front of the ball and properly rotate the body with a swing path that follows the proper line, you will succeed as a ball striker. There are so many little details that affect these fundamentals, and Erik uses video, trackman numbers, and most importantly drills to explain them. If you are playing badly, you will learn exactly why and how to fix it on your own. I suggest working with Erik if you are willing to put in the effort every day doing drills with proper feedback - whether that's a mirror or video. His whole teaching style is based off this system of carefully practicing the correct motion with feedback. If you are ready to take golf seriously and work hard, I believe this system can work for everyone who is physically able. And if you're not, Erik will go to great lengths to find someone who can help you with any mobility limitations. You can certainly go to Erik for a one off lesson and improve immediately, but given his style, that is almost a waste of his talent. Over the course of several lessons he will have the opportunity to completely overhaul your understanding of the golf swing and how the body should move. Besides all that he is a great guy who cares about his students, and it's much easier to absorb constructive criticism from a likeable person!"
"I had a private lesson with Eric last year and it was very helpful. He took a lot of time and was patient with his instruction. I appreciated the technology he used (videos etc) where I could see step by step my posture, technique, swing, etc. It was helpful to watch myself swing and also hear his instruction each step of the way. I came away with learning what areas I did well and other areas I needed to work on. I joined his women’s league and really enjoyed myself. It is a casual, learning league, meeting new, wonderful women who just want to get out and practice as well. Nine holes was perfect for me and it got me out on the beautiful course to practice. Life got busy with my daughter’s wedding and then an elbow injury, but I’d like to get back to the league very soon!"
"I’ve worked with Erik for about 3.5 months now. Best coach I have ever worked with. His teaching goes beyond the golf swing and he genuinely cares about his students. The value you get from a lesson with Erik is unmatched as he follows each lesson with an analysis video and shows what you need to work on in detail. His emphasis on practicing the right way and repetition has changed my game for the better. Through Erik, I went from being very frustrated with the game of golf to being a loving student of the game. Erik is an overall great person and never hesitates to answer any questions you may have. His patience and encouragement as a coach is incomparable."
