"Dr. Koelsch is an extremely knowledgeable and professional psychiatrist. He listens very well and has excellent bedside manner. He always explains how things work when I ask. I know I can be a difficult patient but he has never made me feel like my questions are irrelevant or that I am a bother. Sometimes it can be hard to get a hold of him, but he’s worth it. He treats the whole patient as well, and talks about diet and holistic matters."

"Response to “D. Noreen”: Your “review” speaks volumes of your character. One can only pray for you and the psychiatrist you hopefully have found. Although you are entitled to your opinions and complaints, there are much more appropriate avenues to express them, especially with medical professionals. What is inappropriate and unethical is the unnecessary need to personally identify and defame an individual and/or business in such a public forum. Moving on... I have been a patient of Dr. Koelsch since 2010 and I highly recommend him as a psychiatrist and/or psychologist. He saved my life by assisting me in my dependence on opioids, without the need to go inpatient. He goes way above and beyond what psychiatrists do, i.e. bloodwork, referrals, etc. He genuinely cares about the entire person and understands that physical and mental health issues are often intertwined. He is nonjudgmental so I have no secrets and can speak freely. If I feel there is an issue I cannot process with him about, he completely understands and respects me. He is very knowledgeable in pharmacology and medication management. He provides excellent advice and recommendations on diet and how it can help/harm both mental/physical health issues. The one and only time I was disappointed with our appointment, I contacted him in a confidential manner, we discussed the issue together privately, and it was resolved instantly. We are all only human! The receptionist is like a sister to me and she is delightful to work with. Always very accommodating and I know exactly how she likes her voicemails! She is the bright and beautiful “face” of the office, always welcoming and warm. Finally, Dr. Koelsch has very reasonable rates and in the ten years I have been seeing him, his rates have only increased by a mere $10. I am very grateful for his endless support and care."
