"I called for a little bit of direction, as I explained to the office staff I am in a bit of a jam and needed a little GUIDANCE from a healthcare professional/healthcare staff about how to go about getting my needs met in a short frame of time. "Professional" is a loose term I'm using since no one seems to be that anymore. Tired of people acting like I'm crazy for wanting a little bit of actual help and competence. I'm old enough to remember when there were actual grown ups and competent PROFESSIONALS in existence. Who could answer a simple question and provide guidance. That's too much to expect these days. And to ask an administrative assistant for assistance or to conduct basic administrative duties like answering questions? Way too much to ask of these people. Maybe you don't give a #$*@ that I need help and you were unable and/or unwilling to help me. But you should care because if you had actually tried to be helpful and answer my question or provide guidance or help instead of being totally hostile and unwilling to even try, I would have been more than willing to consider becoming a patient a little bit down the line. Where are all the grown ups and competent people? That is becoming a thing of the past and it's a little scary."
