"Dr Robert Cicarell is my psychiatrist @ the Southern AZ VA and he is great. He is a knowledgeable and skilled Dr of psychiatry who is also caring and compassionate and makes me feel welcome and comfortable. I struggle with some very challenging mental health issues like Bipolar and PTSD thankfully having a Dr like Dr Cicarell has made it easier for me to seek and get help which can be really hard for me to do. He has had some great insights into my meds that really helped improve my quality of life. He also treats me as a whole person in an integrative medicine style. I am always anxious to get assigned a new provider since I have had some really bad experiences in the past. Being an LGBT veteran is tough since not all Dr’s are LGBT friendly or accepting of me and my partner, fortunately Dr Cicarell is welcoming of people from all walks of life including LGBT.
