"Worst doctor I have ever encountered in the entire USA. Not even caring at all about the patient. I suggest another field of work for this "doctor". But not with children and older patients. Take your child somewhere else. Don't waste your time with this doctor."

"Seeing a pediatric neurologist about your child can be daunting as it means something is potentially very wrong with your child. I took my 2 year old daughter in and had questions regarding an arterial anomaly as well as a grand mal seizure. We were referred to the clinic by our pediatrician and our pediatric dermatologist. Upon arrival I did paperwork and was meticulous in my details of my daughters case. Dr. Chacon came in and asked "What can I do for you?" I ask her what she knew about my daughter's case and she replies "nothing." Please come into the room prepared, I have written the details and I expect you to read what has been given to you from my pediatrician and dermatoligist. I begin to tell the details of my child's case and I have only one question regarding her rare condition. Dr. Chacon had never even heard of the condition and didn't even attempt to address my main concern. She proceeded to refer me to a vascular surgeon saying that it was not neurological. She was condescending and when I told her the plan I had made with the pediatrician in regards to my child's seizure to wait if she had another one before getting an EEG, she disregarded me and proceeded to make plans for an EEG. I had to put my foot down and tell her no and then leave. I left feeling very disgruntled and offended. Recently went to the same office for my 7 month old child but saw Dr. Talwar as he was recommended to me by many as the best. Dr. Talwar addressed my concerns regarding both of my daughters helping me make plans as a part of my children's team. He listened intently to my family's health history and background taking notes as I relayed each family member with genetic seizures."

"I had an appointment at 4:30 pm I came on time then the medical assistant said the doctor will come in short time, ive waited 20 minutes and asked when will the doctor come and she said she'll come in short time then 40 minutes passed and an hour had gone by and she still hasn't came. I checked outside and everyone was already cleaning up there were no patients I'm Very disappointed and when you guys go to your primary physician and he/she recommends you guys to Dra Monica chacon ask for someone else."

"My child had to see Dr. Chicon unfortunately and we had a follow up appt for her test results from a procedure yesterday. I was running late and spoke to someone on the phone (turns out to be her medical assistant) who tells me that it's fine that there are no new patient appts and I may have to wait but she will see us. We show up ten minutes late, check in, and they see the person after us (they checked in first) before us. They take us back and sit us with the receptionist where they tell us the Dr can't see us because of lawyer meetings. They then send out the lady who I spoke with on phone and she does not apologize at all. We are told they can see us next day at the same time, which is inconvenient for me but that is all they have. We leave as this is unprofessional and I'm not going to stand around and argue all day. Then I call TODAY and explain the situation and how now because of their screw up (yes because I said I was running late and they said 3 times it would be fine) I have to pay out of pocket for child care and I need something earlier in the day or Monday. The woman on the other line proceeds to tell me "our screw up? As I recall it was you who was late!" I was shocked and asked for her manager. She said one minute, and hung up on me. This is no way to treat patients! My child is a patient there and I need to speak to this dr about serious matters. However now my family and I are so uncomfortable with their inappropriate staff we will have to spend more time finding a new office and physician. Dr. Chacon if you see this you need to speak with your front office about professionalism and respect. We are not there because everything is ok, our children are experiencing things that no one should have to and it's difficult and scary and to be treated so awful is unacceptable."
