"Was my first time to see Dr Stevens at the Northwest office. He was relaxed, professional, friendly and made me feel like he cared about my concerns. He and the entire staff were awesome. Glad he's my Dr. I recommend him highly"
"I had an anatomic shoulder joint replacement By Dr Stevens in 2020. I was infected with C-acne bacteria during the surgery at ORO Valley Hospital. At the time I thought he was the best and most considerate physician I had ever met and a fellow UofA graduate. After six operations in three years (two with him and four at Mayo clinic trying to rid my body of two different bacteria's, I am not sure he was my best choice. Although, there is no physician out there in the USA who can cure an infected shoulder once it is infected. Dr Stevens tested me while on antibiotics for bacteria infection ( you are not suppose to according to the international community of ortho surgeons) and said I was cured and could proceed with a replacement shoulder implant. Mayo did a surgery and found not only the first bacteria I got during Dr stevens first surgery but a second different bacteria. Mayo was not the answer either as he put in the replacement while I was still infected and all screws failed. These shoulder replacement surgeries are not fool proof and do not be fooled that the surgeon who says he or she can cure you once it happens. I hope Chris Stevens the best. I am supposedly his only patient that has been infected during his shoulder surgeries. Now I must have a 7th surgery if I want to regain function of my arm. The odds are now 50% it will be successful."
"Dr. Stevens is a very knowledgeable and courteous doctor. He took care of my shoulder pain. He did not rush the visit and took his time. I definitely would go back to him again and recommend him highly."
"Dr Stevens is the most thoughtful and caring orthopedic surgeon I have ever had and I’ve had a couple. He actually sits down and speaks to you and make sure that you listen and understand everything before he does surgery and after he always comes and sees you and explains everything. He’s just an amazing doctor. Very caring and kind. he did surgery on me 4 different times and did one on my son Andrew and my son Andrew flew all the way from West Virginia to come here just for his and is doing amazing"
