"Dr Matthew Seidel is an orthopedic oncologist. He replaced my mom’s hip when it had a breast cancer tumor in it. The procedure only took an hour! My mom and I are so thankful for Dr Seidel. Abrazo hospital told my mom she would just be bed ridden with a broken hip, on morphine. Always advocate for your health, get second opinions, and seek out the very best care! Dr Seidel is the best in his specialty. Thank you, Dr Seidel!"
"My husband had the wrong finger operated on by Dr. Seidal this past September. Now my husband has limited mobility in his middle finger and since then has been asked to find another doctor for the remaining cancer in his hand. Very upset wish more empathy was given from the entire surgery team under this doctor but no one has yet to even apologize for cutting open the wrong finger."
"Dr Seidel replaced my knee in April 2014. It is perfect and thanks t Lauren the Pn I have a perfect scar. Would recommend them wholeheartedly."
"Obviously mutual respect of Doctors and Patients time in not mutually respected. Asked to arrive thirty minutes early, which I did. An hour later I'm still sitting in the waiting area, and proceeded to walk out of the office. I'm sorry......but my time has value as well and I shouldn't have to take a HALF day vacation to see a doctor for 10 minutes. An hour just waiting in the lobby was certainly going to be followed by 10-20 minutes sitting in an empty room in the back. The new doctors office of stacking patients up in the lobby so they can operate in high production is not my kind of office. Bring back the doctors office where the Doctor actually knows your name and health history."
"Dr. Moussa, We would like to thank you for your excellent care of our son, Charlie, when he severely fractured his upper arm in several places snowboarding this past March in Flagstaff. We want to express our sincere appreciation of your care and concern when we entered your office, unexpectedly, in dire need of a surgeon. Especially since it was your day off, which we are sure is well deserved after your constant care of other patients. After making the difficult choice to leave the Flagstaff hospital and bring him to the valley, we had no idea what a tough time it would be to find a doctor that could operate on our son's arm let alone fit him in their schedule. It was amazing how many reputable doctors, some we know personally, wouldn't even talk to us nor take the time to get an understanding of the situation and refer us to someone else. When it finally dawned on us that you had treated our son for his rotator cuff and his shoulder fracture on his coracoid playing football, we thought we should have called you first. (And that timely response and care was also amazing). The fact that you took the time to analyze the situation, provide us with options for his care, and then you decided within an hour to put a team together and operate on his arm within 2 hours is above and beyond a surgeon's call of duty. And not only did you take your entire afternoon to perform the surgery which I believe was a bit longer than your expectations with the nature of his multiple breaks, but then you stayed an extra 1.5 hours until he woke up to make sure he could move his hand. You knew this aspect of the surgery was also a major concern to us but, also, to our son Charlie who was extremely concerned that nerve damage might interfere with the ability to move his hand again or play any sports. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts that you are the kind, considerate, skilled, and well-mannered doctor that deserves multiple kudos for once again shining above your call of duty! Warm regards, Jennifer and Brian Belluomini"
