Abandoned Gas Station 76 Erie Street, Bisbee, AZ 85603
About the Business
The abandoned gas station at 76 Erie Street in Bisbee, Arizona, United States, stands as a haunting reminder of days gone by. Its weathered facade and rusted pumps evoke a sense of nostalgia for a time when this place was a bustling hub of activity. Now, the once vibrant station sits empty, its windows boarded up and its doors locked tight. Nature has begun to reclaim the space, with weeds pushing through cracks in the pavement and vines creeping up the walls. Despite its dilapidated state, the abandoned gas station still holds a certain allure, drawing in curious visitors who are intrigued by its mysterious past. As the sun sets behind the desert mountains, casting long shadows across the crumbling structure, one can't help but wonder about the stories that this place could tell if only its walls could speak.

"Very cool area of town. It's like you stepped into a time machine and went back to the 50s. Highly suggest stopping by for a photo op session if your are in Bisbee."
"Stop here. It's a fun blast from the past and you can check out the mine, too. Good for any age and the ground is disability friendly (there were people with wheelchairs also there)."
"If you're traveling on Highway 80 in Bisbee, turn left on the first road after the copper mining pit on Erie Street, and experience a block long excursion back to the good old days of 1950's Americana. Lowell, Arizona with it's restored store fronts, automobiles, period signage, and even an authentic Greyhound bus is the closest thing to free time travel I've seen in a long time. It's main attraction, The Bisbee Breakfast Club, is the original restaurant for what is now a chain and features good food from the same era, but only serves breakfast and lunch. Stop for a minute a breathe in a little calm from "Happy Days" and enjoy the rust. You might even see the Fonz on his bike at the Harley Repair Shop. Just past the old Lowell Police Station and it's "Biker Patrol" squad car, Erie Street takes you back out to Highway 80, right before the roundabout and you're back on your way. A short side trip to Twilight Zone along a classic Arizona highway, but definitely worth the time to take a look."
"Stop by to get a blast from the past. Great space for pictures. Go down Erie St. just a few feet away to take a cruise back in time!"
"The Abandoned Gas Station is just the start of Erie st, an adorable little abandoned fifties town. Great photo oops and a fun little place to stop just out side of Bisbee, AZ."
