"The infusion staff were all very friendly and helpful. I had an issue with the dr. that I was seeing and contacted them for change. After 5 days we called twice more. I still haven't heard from anyone."
"Generally I have no issue with the staff here, but yesterday we arrived late 10 minutes and were told because we were late we had to be rescheduled. Mind you my partner is still recovering from a major surgery. Well we came back today on time, and it has been 40 minutes and we still have yet to be called back. This is unacceptable and very unprofessional of the front staff. I will keep updating this post with the wait times in front and once called back Update: It took 50 mins to even get called into the back. The person at the front desk couldn't even make eye contact with us. After rescheduling us yesterday for being 10 minutes late."
"Please go somewhere else for cancer care. My sister was diagnosed with cervical cancer and her experience was terrible and I would dare to say negligent. Not only the customer service but the continuous cancellation of important appointments. After waiting for so long to finally start treatment, there was no follow up to see if the treatment had worked. The cancer ended up spreading to the brain and the doctor at MD Anderson was appalled by the lack of action from Dr Wilmot and this facility. My sister ended up passing away and suffering extreme pain. I am an attorney, not medical malpractice, but I definitely think there was negligence. The only reason we didn't file a lawsuit was because my mom and I couldn't deal with more pain. It also took me a few months to write this review. Please stay away, especially if you have Dr. Wilmot."
"Dr. Kato is the best oncologist on this planet! I have followed him every where he practices! I come all the way from Nm to see him every month! He has taken care of me for almost 15 years! I respect him and he has saved my life!"
"The staff was extremely unprofessional. They over complicated the simplest of tasks, such as taking three days to send a fax; Yes, fax. They do not have a web portal for communication with insurance companies and pharmacies, so there was an unbelievable amount of back and forth of the Honor Health staff saying they sent the fax and then the pharmacy and insurance company saying they didn't receive the fax. No Honor Health staff member thought to take the next step and make a phone call to coordinate the process and ensure receipt. They just kept saying they sent it and then blamed the other company for not having received it. This happened multiple times. The pharmacy shared with me that they have had this problem regarding other patients from the same office. It was often difficult to get a hold of anyone on the telephone because no one would answer their direct line. It was often the case that no one would answer the mainline either. Several members of the staff would not return phone calls in a timely matter, making it very difficult to get things done. This happened repeatedly, not just once or twice. One staff member tried to not take my call by saying she was unavailable but then she took my call, and immediately spoke to me with an offensive tone and talked over me, not allowing me to speak. Then was surprised when I got upset. One staff member had the receptionist tell me and the pharmacy rep that called, that they were gone for the day, when that was not true. I wound up going to the office that day to speak with someone in person because I was frustrated with the inefficiency of the phone calls. When I was there, that employee that was "gone for the day" appeared. I also had MyChart messages that were ignored; no one ever responded to my messages. The amount of stress and frustration I experienced from having to regularly interact with this staff greatly affected my physical and mental well being. The staff was continually annoyed and inconvenienced by having to follow through with tasks that are required for their jobs. I have been a patient of Honor Health for a long time and this is not the quality of care that it used to be. My physician is excluded from any of this feedback. My physician was great and seemed to care about my medical care. Unfortunately, his office staff did not and that is why I am no longer a patient there."
