You definitely can pray for your intentions make a reservation for a retreat and have a private Mass celebration at the chapel is located at Viacrucis towards the cross and our Lady of the Sierras. Shrine!! You are looking for a quite place to meditate reflect or just explore peace with a stunning views!!here is the right place!! Only 1 hour 45 minutes east south from Tucson Arizona."

"Very pretty scenery atop this hill. Pretty cool setting and there is a very short little trail you can hike up and overlook what seems like miles below. I was trying to get a picture with the sun as a halo over the statue, but it just wasn't in the cards. If I was religious or attended any church setting this place probably would have been pretty special. For me it was just gorgeous."

"The drive up is STEEP!! It was very peaceful when we were there. We had the whole place to ourselves. We accidentally scared 2 baby deers when we were walking down. They looked terrified, and we tried not to scare them away from where mom would come looking for them, so we took a side trail/paved walkway, which led to where the house used to be? There were new looking backpacks with supplies just abandoned. Not sure if squatters are using the area, but we left quickly."

"What a beautiful scenery. Disclaimer.. I'd go up to the parking lot and walk up if you can., taking in the stations of the cross. Driving up is not bad. Driving down gives me anxiety because of the steep slope. But go! Experience the peaceful atmosphere of the chapel. The Lord is truly in this place. Light a candle for a loved one, write a message for the Lord. Kneel and be one. When the candle is lit and red, the body of Christ resides within the urn. The sights are amazing!"
