Reviews
"Very informative through placards/,signage Good trails. Nice benches. BUT..trail entrance signage riddled with bullet holes, graffiti on the other info placard and all placards are fading badly. Nothing to actually "see" but you are ON the historical site."
"If you have the opportunity, go on the Friends of the San Pedro River docent lead walk! Our docent was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable, had charts and maps and pictures of the megafauna that once wandered these lands, as well as replica Clovis points, tools and mammoth tooth. He answered questions, and at the end of the wall, anyone who wanted to got to try using an atlatl. It really was very interesting! If you go here on your own, there isn't a whole lot to see in regards to the Clovis people, but there are trails to hike and some interpretive signs."
"The loop was nice but the rest of the trails were over grown and not marked well. It is to bad the state doesn't do a better job on their hiking trails but they do have enough to deal with, with illegals trying to enter our country."
"It's a nice walk, we did the interpretive trail. The signs are a little hard to read, I'm thinking it's from sun damage. Very informative and interesting. The steps are the only area someone may have issues if they are in steady on there feet."
"This is a great walk, fairly accessible once you travel down a short dirt road. The great thing is that the history is preserved. Read up before you go to gain deeper appreciation for the historical significance. The signs could use updating due to the sun and being shot at. I believe most people treat the trail and site with respect. Dog friendly as long as you watch for cactus."
