"Great place and kid friendly with many hands on exhibits. My son loved the old school house and Rosa's casa. The volunteers were very friendly. Make sure to do the scavenger hunt and junior ranger piece for badge if you are bringing kids."
"I really enjoyed Tubac Presidio State Park. The self-guided tour was interesting. I found that the Historic Schoolhouse, archeological remains of the Presidio and the Rojas house were very some of the highlights for me. The museum is also very extensive."
"You won't mistake this place for the Smithsonian but if you visit you will see what local volunteers did over the last few decades to bring alive the history of their town and the surrounding natural areas. It's a sweet and interesting multi-media indoor/outdoor museum that is worth at least an hour of your time. It's also a welcome break from the commercialism of the art and craft shops."
"Children love it, I've seen the outside grounds but have not toured the inside...yet! I usually walk to the middle of Tubac and explore the great shops. I love Shelbys for peaceful, relaxing dining outdoors but History is always cool in my book. A visual reminder and first rate way to learn.some of the townsfolk are kitschy as he'll too :)"
"This was my first visit to the Presidio. It is set up well and for the $5 entrance fee, well worth the time to go through it. There is 2000 years worth of history here. The museum has an amazing amount of artifacts. I came here to see the ambulance (wagon) and was not disappointed. Its in beautiful shape and you can touch it! Unheard of in most museums. Plan on at least an hour to 2 hours to go through everything. The employees are very knowledgeable and friendly."
