Butter, mild, medium and hot... Each we're wonderful. I found the staff excellent, helpful, friendly and accommodating. The restaurant was clean."

"Before I begin this review, I would like to address a few of the reviews that have already been written. There are for some odd reason, a couple of negative reviews that are one and two stars, but their reviews don't even make any sense. The negative reviews written on the day of opening were about slow wait times and poor food quality. There were hundreds of people, all in line for food, and they had the audacity to judge the quality of their entire experience on the busiest day they will ever have. Anyways, here's my honest review of Houston Hot Chicken. The line was still out the door, and it genuinely moved along pretty quickly. I placed my order and waited less than 5 minutes for it. The service was top tier, too! Extremely nice and fast workers. By the time I got back to work to eat it, my food was still steaming hot and none of it was soggy. The fries were truly the highlight of the show, they were a little sweet with light kick and a bunch of great flavor. The chicken was also excellent! It was extremely moist and full of flavor. I will definitely be coming back here! Take the time to experience this for yourself and don't let these negative reviews deceive you. Enjoy!!"
