"Despite explicit explanation of multiple, extreme symptoms this Dr. couldn't even figure out and diagnose a Nasal Staph infection. I had to go elsewhere to get a diagnosis & to the root cause of my sinus issues and to have a nasal culture taken. How does an ENT not perform nasal cultures? Staph is contagious, so I ended up prolonging exposure to my family for 3 months while hunting down the answer and treatment. Then I had a $180 bill for the XRay performed, but that the Dr said was "fine". Ater after removing tiles in my bathroom that my historic rental hold was covered in Penicillin mold and had the air tested to confirm this species. I am allergic to mold and this "ENT" did not treat me at all. A DIFFERENT DR.. started treatment for me on multiple heavy-strength Rx's to kill the mold & staph. This was literally a life changing issue for me and this Dr was clueless. Take your health into your own hands until you get to the root cause!"
"I only go to Dr.s if I break a bone. I'm not a fan of them. But I like Dr. Zacheis. He has a calming demeanor and he explains things clearly. Hopefully I won't need to go back, but if my issue returns, I won't hesitate to make the 90 minute drive to consult him."
"Wonderful ENT Dr. He's easy to get to see and listens to you. He discovered a serious problem and immediately referred me to the best specialist in that field and got me an appointment very quickly. He will remain my ENT Dr."
"I saw Dr. Zacheis on 1/27/2017, where after a biopsy a small lump on my jawline was diagnosed as a palemorphic adenoma. Though some years have passed I want to leave a record of his lack of knowledge on all levels. A few months after the biopsy confirmed the diagnosis, I noticed that it was growing larger and made a second appointment. At that appointment, he dismissed my concern saying 'You must have forgotten I said these things never grow'. Now, after 6 years it's grown from about the size of a dime to the size of a peach pit, distorting my face. That these tumors grow is a simple Google search, they grow, they always grow. I then asked about having it removed, again the wrong response, he said that surgery wasn't possible. It's actually the only treatment and is done frequently. Not long after this I found he had lied in my records, he stated in my record that I had refused surgery. I had Asked for removal! I find his ignorance and lack of knowledge in my case to be incredible. I recently met with another ENT surgeon who suggested the typical removal, but now, at my age, I'm uncertain whether I want to undergo the surgery. 6 years ago when I had to deal with this poorly trained doctor I would have jumped at the chance. Avoid him is my strong recommendation."
"Dr. Zacheis and his staff were very professional in the manner they went about their business before, on the day of and after my sinus surgery. All my questions regarding the surgery were addressed and in the end things went better than expected. Saff at Camp Lowell Surgery Center were equally as impressive and complemented Dr. Zacheis work. My impression was that all concerned worked as a fine tuned team for the benefit of the patient. Please keep up your good work and thank you for a job well done."
