Weld Like A Girl™ is an empowerment project located at 1350 South 3rd Avenue in Yuma, Arizona, United States. Our institution offers workshops using welding sculpture and fabrication to empower girls and women, boosting self-esteem and whole-person wellness. We provide a safe space for individuals to explore the world of welding, offering guidance and support along the way. Our mission is to make empowerment accessible to all, showing participants that they are capable of more than they may think.

At Weld Like A Girl™, we strive to help girls and women recognize their talents and embrace their strengths. We believe in lifelong learning and never selling oneself short. We support Made in America products, recycled and green initiatives, and businesses founded or run by women or veterans.

While we are not a formal welding institute, we do offer Certified Welding Inspector services and qualify welders to various codes. If individuals are interested in furthering their welding education, we recommend visiting www.aws.org or a local community college.

We welcome gentlemen (not jerks) to attend most of our classes, unless specified otherwise on our Events page. Our goal is not to exclude boys or men, but to provide a safe and empowering environment for girls and women to explore welding and creativity.
