"We set up a Discovery Flight for my grandson’s 14th birthday. We called and asked all the important questions. Then a few days later we went into the building and paid for a Premium Discovery Flight on May 3, 2023. This would include 30 minutes on the sim and an hour flight in the plane with an instructor. We paid for it in cash and thankfully requested a receipt. They explained they were closed on Sat. and Sunday and so was the terminal that weekend. We went to a nearby restaurant to get reservations at a window seat to be able to watch the runway at the airport while we waited during our grandson’s hour flight. The restaurant owner made special arrangements to reserve a table for us, which he normally does not do. I called Falcon Aviation in the afternoon the day before just to confirm our appointment on Sat. May 13th. That’s when I found out the instructor was sick and it was cancelled. We had never received an e-mail or phone call about this. The representative acted like it was not a big deal. Said they had a replacement instructor who volunteered to come in even though they were closed. I was shocked as we made many arrangements to make this happen. But he said they could do it anytime between 8:00-11:00 so it was really not a big deal. I picked the earlier time at 9:00 knowing my disabled daughter and husband have to work hard to be at an early appointment but knowing heat could make everyone less comfortable. We showed up at 8:45 and waited in the parking lot but nobody showed up and the place was closed. Roque had given me his personal number in case of any problems. I called to find out it was scheduled on Sunday instead. He stated I must have misunderstood that Peter was filling in but only works on Sunday. Well, I think I would have realized the change in days since it was Mother’s Day and I had other plans. So we go home with a deflated grandson, change my Mothers Day plans and plan to do it all again tomorrow. Nothing like being built up for an amazing surprise gift to have it cancelled. So we show up the next day and Peter arrives and does a pretty good job with our grandson. We were thankful he jumped in so it could be done on his birthday weekend. Peter didn’t realize our grandson had no aviation experience and the vocabulary alone was not something our grandson had a handle on so if you plan to do a Discovery Flight make sure the new trainee has done their homework and understands basic vocabulary and airplane parts or the sim will be over your head. Our grandson had a good flight experience and Peter did a good job. We were thankful the plane checked out ok as they only have one airplane right now. On Monday we received a call telling us we needed to pay for the Discovery Flight. We had paid cash two week before in person. We had to find the receipt and give specific information and they would check and see if they could find the cash 11 days later. We received a call back that they found it had been credited. Disorganization of the office was not appreciated. Peter being positive and giving our grandson a good flight experience was pretty good except his overall teaching for a brand new student could have been more expanded on the teaching part with explanations. He also didn’t know he was suppose to do a sim with our grandson so maybe he was not prepared to teach a full 30 minute sim lesson. We appreciated Peter filling in very much or we would have not been able to do this at all as we were leaving for the summer. The disorganization of the office, lack of communication with us and confusion on the payment, along with having only one plane would steer me to an alternate aviation program."
"Great place for training and rentals! Plus the pilot shop has books for training and pilot accessories for all level pilots! Great source for charts and related publications too!"
"Great place to rent an aircraft. Plenty of availability and well maintained aircraft. Last but not least and most appreciated, top notch customer service. From the instructors to dispatch. These guys certainly go the extra mile."
"Really friendly flight instructors and the place clearly has a company culture of genuinely caring about the student and wanting to go the extra mile."
"Great staff & better service!"
