"My son is graduating from the STEAM Academy after studying for two years there, for 7th & 8th grade. We don't live near the school (in fact, it's 25 miles each way, 4 times a day!), but it's well worth the drive because it's a GREAT program! The rigor of the curricula, the qualification of the teachers, and the depth of the subjects really helped my son achieve "High Proficient" in AzMerit testings, and prepared him for honor classes in high school. We really appreciate the quality of the STEAM program and we highly recommend it to anyone who is intellectually curious and strives for academic excellence!"

"Great school, great teachers, great electives. The school offers good teaching experiences for the smarter ones, and the ones who need a bit help. It also has a variety of clubs, from concert band, to robotics, to cooking. I am going here, my sister and two cousins went there, and we all loved it. Not to mention the sports programs, which suits any athlete. If you are going into Jr High soon, I'd recommend Willis. Go Firebirds!"
"I go to Willis now and I believe if I went any Where else I wouldn't have learned as much.......teacher at Willis respect you and make sure you feel safe at Willis.....so most of the people that say Willis is a bad school most likely EVER been there to see so themselves....they say Willis is a fighting school.....not true.....Yes people fight but please tell me what middle school kids don't try to fill their Cheerios at???"
"Our daughter LOVES Willis and we could not be happier for her! She loves her teachers (so do we) and she has found a WONDERFUL group of friends! Yes, there are some not so wonderful kids that go there as well . . . she steers clear of them, just like she would if she were going to any other school. There are good kids and bad, YOU have to teach your children that who they hang out with, is a great predictor as to who THEY are in this world."
