"I agree with the previous comment before me. I have not even seen the doctor and am still in the scheduling stage, when one of his scheduling staff has been rude and insensitive. I scheduled my appointment back in September 2023 and wasn’t able to get my appointment until this upcoming March. I called to because I needed to reschedule due to a conflict, and she said the next available appointment isn’t until May 2024. I thought about it and said, I will just stick to the normal schedule and go for The March appointment since my asthma has been getting worse and I need to be seen. She said the March appointment was already canceled and it’s no longer available. This was within one minute. I never asked for a cancellation, I wanted an option to reschedule for a different time, not an extension for another 2 months. I asked for other alternatives and she said “no there’s no more options.” It’s just very frustrating and disappointing to have to communicate with a staff that doesn’t listen or care. I have been waiting for months and the 2 minutes that I was thinking, I was already taken away from my appointment. I normally do not leave reviews, but this situation has allowed me to reflect about how most of my scheduling in healthcare has felt like this. It makes me feel worse to be seeing a doctor but am left feeling worse because of the unwelcoming treatment of staff. I hope the staff can get more training on how to treat their clients and patients with respect and sympathy. I did not receive any of that, and that was just a phone call. I hope they can learn to think of how their clients feel, because they would certainly not like it if they were treated the same way."
"So, so kind. The facility itself is very welcoming and comfortable. The receptionist & nurses—also great, very friendly. The doctor himself was kind, caring and thorough. You can easily see that he truly cares for his patients. I would recommend him and this facility to anyone."
"Dr. Pacheco is a fabulous doctor, and most of the staff are great too. BUT there is one of his staff members that was very condescending and unprofessional. It breaks my heart to think of those who will encounter her tasteless and disrespectful character in the role she has at this facility. May God speak to her heart and allow her to be more patient and understanding to individuals that come to this facility for pulmonary care. One person's behavior can definitely affect the out come of the team's effort."
"Dr Pacheco was extremely kind at a very difficult time. He explained my dad’s lung disease in a way we could both understand. He referred us to an excellent oncologist. I am very grateful to him."
"I chose Dr. Pacheco's office after doing research on my options for a sleep study in the area and seeing positive reviews. I waited 3 months for a new patient appointment (typical for Tucson specialists it seems) and had the office call me to reschedule that April 6th appointment due to the doctor having hand surgery. My appointment was rescheduled for May 5th, which was confirmed to me twice; once in person and once over the phone. I drove 2.5 hours for my appointment and was told it wasn't until the end of the month. After speaking with the assistant manager, Heather, I was told that she had called me and left a voicemail changing my appointment yet again. I reviewed all of my incoming calls and voicemails for the time-period she assured me she made that call and my carrier confirmed that indeed she had not contacted me at all, let alone on the day she specified. In addition, I am moving out of the state and would never have agreed to have my appointment rescheduled to the day she moved it to (without conferring with me). It is disheartening that such a highly reviewed physician has such low quality staff on hand, especially during a pandemic when highly qualified and unemployed workers would be vying for a position such as Heather's. I do hope they rectify this internally. As for me, I will seek services elsewhere."
