Reviews
"Lower levels play in this practice field with very small stands for viewing. As a visiting team, the announcers made unusual comments about the other school that made even home fans uncomfortable. Overall a poor sports viewing experience."
"Small field, no stands on opposing side, announcer was completely inappropriate bringing up events at Chaparral to demean the school and team, poor parking area with horrible extremly excessive speed bumps. Overall bad experience which I have never incurred at another rival teams field. Low class."
"Great school and excellent teachers! Yes it's expensive but if your son gets accepted they have many programs, financial aid, and scholarships that you can apply for assistance. Worth the effort!"
"I taught and coached at Brophy in the 70's. Absolutely loved the school. The students I taught were a wonderful bunch of young men. I loved coaching - Every time we lost a game I coached I couldn't sleep the whole night. So I tried my best to win - because sleep is good. While I remember the victories and the loses, I recall most fondly the times in the classroom that my students vehemently disagreed with me. I knew I was getting through then. If they agreed they might not care but if they wanted to argue my point that was something special. I try to remember them all and wish them all the very best."
"I definitely had a negative bias toward private schools. So, when my son expressed interest in attending I was somewhat cool to the idea. After some research, meeting the faculty/staff and other parents and students, I was hooked. My son is having a great experience and growing as a person. Academics are important there, but there's also a huge focus on developing well-rounded young adults - sports, clubs, community service."
